The liberation stories of those individuals are as follows: As is widely known regarding the nine or twelve qualities of a holy person, he extensively listened to various fields of knowledge, including Sutra, Tantra, and sciences, reaching the depths of an ocean. Through wisdom arising from contemplation, he discerned the essential points of his own and others' tenets without confusion. Through meditation, experiences and realizations burst forth like a spring. He was not merely a scholar specializing in one area, but one who could dispel the doubts even of those renowned for their great intellect regarding the subtle nuances of words in Sutra, Tantra, and sciences. He was not a hypocritical monk, but one who was thorough and meticulous in Dharma and conduct. He was not a biased good person, but one whose extremely upright and pure thoughts were praised by all discerning individuals as being like gold. When teaching, it was as if he were blessed by a supreme deity, and no matter what text he taught, he did not rely on examples or contemplation, but spoke fluently like reciting a mani. In debate, no matter how much scrutiny the initially accepted position underwent, it only deepened with scriptural and logical proofs, and there was never any uncertainty or contradiction. When composing, even if he connected many verses, there were no errors of omission or repetition, only contemplation, like someone with a clear memory. With the wisdom of knowledge, he saw the individual and general characteristics of all knowable things. He attained the realization of the nature of reality as it is. With loving compassion, he had only impartial benefit for all sentient beings. With his power, he even subdued barbaric heretics, and the vajra prophecy praised him, so what need is there to mention others? Thus, leaving aside his Dharma qualities, even from a worldly perspective, his father was very honest and able to discern the truth. During his tenure as the great secretary of Derge (Derge County, Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan) for about twenty-six years, because the local ruler's laws were strict and his mind was suspicious, no nobleman was without punishment, but this upright secretary was not even rebuked for losing a small khata, so he was praised by everyone as "a person as upright as a conch shell ornament." Moreover, Vajradhara Namkha Chime, the great accomplished Kunsang Sherab, Kathok Maha Pandita Tsewang Chokdrub, and others personally bestowed praise upon him as if he were a holy person, and these written documents still exist today. He himself

Because I was born into this lineage, I am impartial and extremely upright. Regarding religious sectarian claims and worldly good and bad deeds, I have absolutely no bias, knowing only what is right and speaking only what is right. Therefore, the wise are pleased, and those who behave improperly are fearful. Those who behave rudely due to inner defilement cannot bear the exposure of their own ugliness, so they rebuke me, just as: When a straight line is drawn, those with crooked minds feel uncomfortable. So it seems. Furthermore, I do not deliberately pursue things such as taming beings, town rituals, or seeking more gain from what is already gained. Subjugating enemies, supporting relatives, engaging in trade and agriculture, or taking care of relatives are things I have never even dreamed of. If there is an invitation along the way, I try to fulfill the wishes of others, rather than making excuses like "I am a renunciate," posing with an empty vase or placing my hand on my head, pretending to be on the verge of death. All gains are used for immediate virtuous deeds, never accumulated, and not a penny is wasted on monks, relatives, etc., who do not care about the ripening of karma. In private, I only teach with brief words of renunciation such as "I, this old monk, am about to die," and never plan long-term livelihoods, arranging this and that. I do not display sorrowful emotions in public, crying and wailing under the guise of renunciation. Towards the lamas, although I do not flatter them with excessive respectful words to win their favor, in private, I never demean them by mentioning their names, families, or titles, but praise them with respectful titles such as Vajradhara Holder of the Vajra) and Rinpoche, and my reverence is beyond words. Moreover, my devotion is unwavering, which is a supreme quality that cannot be compared to the arrogant and hypocritical lamas and disciples of today. In general, my heart is so deep that no one can fathom it, but outwardly I appear ordinary and unremarkable, without the arrogance of scholars, the boasting of accomplished ones, or a narrow-minded disposition, but rather with humility and kindness towards everyone. In reality, at times
