In order to eliminate the arrogance of attachment to the deity of viewing, a yoga that strikes the subtle channels, winds, and bindus is needed. First, purify the channels through the yoga of body postures, wheels, and binding actions. Then, purify the winds through yogas such as Vajra recitation and union, and introduce them into the central channel. By gaining control over the winds, ignite the fire of Tummo wisdom, and generate heat through the yoga of melting bindus, resulting in the arising of bliss wisdom in succession. At that time, by mentally uniting with the actual consort, one directly draws forth the co-emergent great bliss wisdom of example and meaning. In this way, through the generation stage, one can advance to the accumulation path of mantra. By guarding it through the union of wind and Tummo, and by skillfully utilizing one's own body and the bodies of others, one elevates the heat of the joining path, ultimately attaining forbearance. In the stage of supreme Dharma, relying on the proximate cause of the mudra, when one sees a partial aspect of the wisdom of meaning, one attains the first ground. By gradually progressing upwards, the realization of the nine grounds of the path of cultivation becomes manifest. Third, as it is said, "When bliss and emptiness..." etc., when will the ultimate result be accomplished? As just explained, through the union of skillful means of great bliss and emptiness arising from skillful means, the extremely subtle wisdom of meaning, from the initial seeing of its nature until the completion of the great path of cultivation, one practices the learning luminosity. And in that state, at the moment when the manifestation of the illusory body of the learning union dissolves, the non-learning luminosity Dharmakaya is accomplished. Moreover, without moving from that state, the enjoyment body and the union of great bliss are without inherent nature, filled with compassion, continuous, and without cessation. Thus, by distinguishing the three bodies with the seven branches of union, one will accomplish the state of the all-pervading Vajradhara. With that, a brief explanation of the classification of the path and fruit of the unsurpassable Vajrayana has been completed. Now, to summarize the second main point, the instruction.

Among the four dharmas, the first is the instruction to cultivate a firm mind of renunciation as the foundation of the path. In short, what need is there to say much? And so on. In short, what need is there for much talk? The essence of the matter is that by training the mind in the difficulty of finding leisure and endowment and the impermanence of death, one sees the happiness and sweet sounds of this life as meaningless, like a good dream in a deep sleep, and one's mind is completely turned away from the appearances of hope and fear. And seeing that one does not go to nothing after death, but that wherever one is born in the three realms by the fruits of karma, one does not escape suffering, one turns away from all of samsara. From this, a definite renunciation arises in the mind, and one seeks only the state of liberation. These are the foundation, like the field, of all the many virtuous paths that have been taught at the beginning. If one does not have this much, no matter how much one strives on any path, let alone omniscience, it is impossible to attain even liberation. As the teacher Nagarjuna said: If a fire suddenly breaks out on your head or clothes, you should abandon all other activities to put it out. Likewise, you should strive to be free from rebirth, for there is nothing more important than that. Therefore, the second is the instruction to realize the nature of the path itself, which is the inseparability of emptiness and compassion. Realizing that reality is without truth, and so on. As it is said: Here, it is not the mere appearance that is negated, but the clinging to truth that is the cause of suffering that is to be averted. As it is said here, although one does not negate how all things appear, one clings to them and mistakes reality for something that is truly established. Therefore, one must realize that all the elaborations of clinging to self and what belongs to self, which are distinguished by beings and dharmas, are without inherent birth in the ultimate sense. And since appearances arise in dependence on their respective causes and conditions, one must know how to establish karma and its fruits, etc., without negating them. And with great compassion, one cherishes all sentient beings who have not realized this, and focuses on methods that will transform whatever one does into benefiting others. These are the actual practice, like the seed, of all the many virtuous paths that have been taught in the middle. The glorious Chandrakirti said: Hearers and middling Buddhas are born from the Able One, and Buddhas are born from Bodhisattvas.
