Hum! All phenomena are primordially in the state of clear light emptiness. From the illusory appearances of interdependent origination, The outer vessel is the realm of Akanishta, the Lotus Light Land, A wondrous arrangement, a palace of perfect abundance beyond measure, A vast and expansive space of five wisdom lights. In the sky in front, above a lotus, sun, and moon, The essence is the lord of all lineages and mandalas, The root guru of unequaled kindness, and The feet of Karma Chakme, the master of compassion. The wisdom illusory body beyond differentiation, The form is the Great Bliss Padmasambhava, One face, two arms, in the form of a white and red youth, The union of bliss and emptiness, with a peaceful smile and graceful demeanor, The two hands in equipoise, holding a nectar-filled skull cup, The body adorned with a white vajra secret garment, and A wide dark blue robe, a saffron-colored dharma garment, A layered purple silk upper garment, The head adorned with a majestic and beautiful lotus hat, The two legs seated upright in the vajra posture. The body of wisdom light, the union of appearance and emptiness, Clearly visible as the essence of all refuges combined. Secondly, I and all limitless sentient beings without exception, Emanating into bodies as numerous as atoms in the fields, Inspired by longing, intention, and faith, Prostrating with great reverence through the three doors. Following the footsteps of the inexhaustible treasury of space, Offering body and possessions, Samantabhadra's clouds of offerings. Confessing from the depths of our hearts the sins and downfalls of inherent nature, Rejoicing in the ocean of meritorious deeds. Urging the turning of the peaceful, cool, nectar-like wheel of Dharma, Beseeching you to remain without passing into nirvana. By the power of dedicating all the accumulations of merit from the three times, beginning with this virtue, May I and all limitless beings without exception, Quickly attain the state of the glorious guru. Thus, if able, offer an elaborate or concise mandala as you can. Thirdly, The very essence of the refuge, the Three Jewels, The great sovereign of the ocean of the Three Roots mandala, The glorious guru, the embodiment of the three kayas and lineages, and The very embodiment of great compassion, the feet of Karma Chakme, The union of the two truths, the Great Bliss Padmasambhava, From the very nature of the mind's space, inseparable and non-dual, Displaying inconceivable forms of body, speech, mind, qualities, and activities, You are the sole reliance for this life and the next, Praying with unbearable and intense longing.

Prayers: Please bestow the great rain of empowerment and blessings. Please bless my mind to turn to Dharma. Please bless me to attain the true Dharma path. Please dispel the delusions of the path, please make deluded appearances arise as Dharmakaya, please make one-pointed samadhi stable, Please realize the view free from elaboration, please make one taste manifest, please make it through to exhaustion without meditation, please pacify outer and inner obstacles, please liberate my own lineage through realization, please ripen the lineage of others through compassion, please bless the accomplishment of both self and other benefits. Thus, pray with one-pointed devotion and faith. The recitation for supplication: Om Ah Hum Vajra Guru Padma Siddhi Hum. Recite this mantra, as well as any other suitable prayers. If you are happy to recite the name mantra, then recite: Om Ah Maha Guru Vajra Dhara Sarva Siddhi Hum. May the great Vajradhara Guru bestow all siddhis. Recite as much as possible. The third part is the subsequent practice, which has three parts: receiving the empowerment of the path, mixing mind and intention and abiding in equanimity, and concluding with dedication, aspiration, and auspicious words. The first part is: Through the power of praying with one-pointed reverence, the vajra rays of light clouds from the four places of the guru, enter into one's own four places and dissolve in non-duality. Purify obscurations, and may empowerment and blessings be bestowed. Recite and contemplate in this way. The second part is: Finally, the guru dissolves into light and merges into oneself, the guru's mind and one's own mind blend into one taste, the undifferentiated, unconditioned, inexpressible, natural state, abide in a state free from elaboration and contraction in the three times. Recite and abide in equanimity. The third part is: When beginning to rise from the seat, with this virtue, may all limitless sentient beings, quickly attain the state of the protector of the wheel, with the wealth of benefit and happiness of existence and peace, may the auspicious appearance of the three realms increase. Use this as a transition to engage in daily activities. This text was respectfully offered as it was bestowed from afar with auspicious sacred objects and a second precious gift by Chagme Choktrul Rinpoche, the unparalleled illuminator of the Kar Ning teachings, and placed on the crown of the head. Written by Karma Sangye Chöpel, the Khenpo of Japa Karma Monastery, a great holder of discipline and master of sutras and tantras, may this virtue become a cause for the blessings of the guru to enter the heart.
