Thus, the venerable and holy lama, the great holder of the Sumdan Dorje, Ngawang Lekdrup Nyengyü Tenpai Gyaltsen Pal Zangpo, having thoroughly studied the fields of grammar, composition, and other worldly sciences, on the occasion of bestowing a special feast of eloquent speech, this prayer for long life and offering of a name, "Manjushri, the Sun of Speech, the Youthful Bloom of the Delighted Brahma's Son," was composed by Zechen Mahapandita Jamyang Gyepai Lodrö, and from the kindness of the omniscient Guna Sagara, having heard only a few terms of grammar, the Shakya monk and renunciate Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo, or also called the Youthful Bloom of the Delighted Brahma's Son, the Six-Faced One, the Joyful Wisdom.

Therefore, even without beautiful and pleasing words and good meaning, Occupied by the spring of faith and joy, the branches of supplication droop. The originally pure Bodhicitta, not separating cause and effect, The wisdom of Vajradhara, also appears in the guise of monastic robes. The youth of wisdom flourishes, and the corner of loving eyes moves, And that also benefits the Dharma and sentient beings, the three bodies arise simultaneously.
