Both lineages of transmission; the latter is the empowerment lineage. The Yeshe Zhapluk tradition: Lochen Rinchen Zangpo received it from Padmakara, and Gnyos Lotsawa Dorje Lama received it from Balim Acharya, which is the Gnyos tradition; Ra Dorje Drak received it from Punya Shri, which is the Ra tradition. The Chakrasamvara Luipa tradition: From the brothers Phamthingpa to Lokya Sherab Tsek, and through them to Malo, Sachen, etc., this is the Sakya tradition. Marpa directly received it from the Nepalese Bhadampa, which is the Marpa tradition. From Jowo Shantipa to Rongpa Gardge, this is the Rong tradition or Jowo tradition. From Shakya Shri, through Vibhutichandra, this is the Panchen tradition. Kana Shri, Phamthingpa, and Bhadana were all received by Puhang Lochung Drak, so he had both the empowerment and explanation transmissions. Furthermore, the Dmar tradition branched off from the Puhangpa lineage holders. From Panchen Kshitigandha to Dpal Chos Zang, this is the Dpal tradition. In terms of explanation, the Malgyo and Puhang traditions are the main ones. Also, the Spal Yangnang tradition: Lochen and Naktsö received the lineage from Jowoje, and from that lineage, Gompa Mangom received it from Spal Yangnang. The empowerment lineage of the Black Practitioner is transmitted from Malgyo. From Drilbupa Lokya to Malgyo, and from the Kashmiri Panchen to Jibola Lhapa Senge Dpal, this is the Sakya tradition and the Kashmiri tradition. The thirteen deities of Drilbupa are transmitted from Sumati Kirti to Marpa Dopa. Lopa's Abhisamaya Root Commentary, Outer Offering, Hand Offering, and Torma Ritual, these five are known as the Lower Five of Luipa. The first was written by himself, and the latter four were written by Prajñārakṣita. The generation stage includes: Sadhana Mandala, Fire Offering, and Bindu. The completion stage includes: Clarifying the Secret Essence, Olapati, which are the Six Black Texts that show the completion stage. Sadhana, the Order of Empowerment Activities, the Five Stages, are known as the Three Cycles of Drilbu. The explanation of the Abhidharmasamuccaya, in the early translation period, Dana and Jina received it from Chokzhang, and it was transmitted in order. Later, Liton Chodrak received it from Drangti Darma Senge, and he made the teaching and practice flourish. The Yoga Tantra Manjushri Secret Accomplishment, from Manjushri to Manjushri Mitra, and from him to Sgegpa Dorje, it was gradually introduced to Tibet, and Smriti Shantigarbha propagated it. The Chad lineage of the Lord of Speech, Khampa Sherab Dorje, or from Shintam Gandha, obtained the Sun Accomplishment, Skyi Bema Lungpa.

From both of those, Sherdor heard. It is said that from that point, Ngok Chöku Dorje passed the teachings down to the Ngok lineage. Furthermore, texts like the 'Hidden Teachings' explain the Pratimoksha in detail, as part of the detailed explanations. Drime Shenyen and Khyepar Shenyen and others explained the Pratimoksha Sutra. Gelek Shenyen explained the Vinaya-matrika, Dulha explained the Vibhanga, Gewai Shenyen explained the Vinaya Inquiry, and Tsultrim Shenyen explained the Minor Matters. Later, Dzig Nyen's disciple, Yönten Ö, who was more skilled in Vinaya than his teacher, composed the Sutra Root and its auto-commentary. Chöshe composed the Extensive Commentary, and so on. In Tibet, the tradition of explanation is as follows: after the seven successors of the doctrine, there were Chirmimé Lobé, Yönten Ö, and Shakya Ö, the two Dharma Friends. They passed it on to Sengé Dongchen, who passed it on to Dana Dzina, and the three, Ka, Chok, and Zhang, heard it and spread it. The lineage of vows is transmitted from the noble Shariputra, through Bodhisattva, and spread in Tibet. The tradition of explanation is that the Upper Vinaya and Lower Vinaya both merged into one river from Gyu, and therefore Gyu was known as the Four Sons, and so on. The Kashmiri Pandit also spoke the Sutra Root and the Tro Phu Garland of Flowers Tantra to Sakya Pandita. From that lineage, later, Butön Rinpoche and Kunkhyen Rongtön and others received the transmission of all three systems. Marpa mainly pleased Naropa, the Undisputed Foot, primarily with Hevajra. He was prophesied by him and heard the Guhyasamaja from Yeshe Nyingpo in western Kurukshetra, the Mahamaya from Kukkuripa, the Mahamudra from Maitripa, and the Chatuhpitha from the Bone Ornamented Woman, and so on. Later, Ngoktön Chöku Dorje heard all of those. That is, the nine deities of Hevajra, the fifteen deities of Nairatmya, the many deities of the Father Teachings of Chatuhpitha, the Mother Teachings of Yeshe Wangchuk, the five deities of Mahamaya, and the five Dakinis of the Condensed Gur Tradition, these six came from Marpa. From Namchema Lungpa and Khampa Sherdor, he heard the explanation of the Manjushrinamasamgiti Yoga Tantra, and the cycle of Jampal Sangden, and became known as the Seven Mandalas of Ngok. The seven mandalas of the Ngor tradition are: Hevajra, Gur, Sambhuta, Vinaya, Black Manjushri, and Secret Manjushri. The Gelugpas emphasized the practice of the three, Guhyasamaja, Chakrasamvara, and Vajrabhairava. Some of the Kar side emphasized the three, Chakrasamvara, Hevajra, and Kalachakra. There is also the saying of the three, Black, King, and Pig, which is the Karma Kagyu tradition.
