In order to possess the vows of the tantra, in the presence of the glorious Lama and the protector Amitayus, surrounded by the assembly of the refuge, the ocean of the Three Jewels, generate the supreme bodhicitta with the Three Refuges as the preliminary, thinking, "I will generate," and repeat this three times. I take refuge in the Three Jewels, etc. Then, show the mandala: This longevity vase in front is in the form of a precious vase on the outside. Inside is the square mansion of the deity with four doors, complete with all characteristics. In the center, on a precious throne supported by lions, with various lotus, sun, and moon cushions, visualize the Lama inseparable from the protector Amitayus, etc., and the Lamas of the longevity guidance lineage residing like dense clouds. The master also resides in the same way, together with the assembly of Amitayus and the Lamas of the longevity guidance lineage, and generate the faith of seeing them directly. Then, in order to lay the foundation, visualize as follows: Oṃ hrīḥ padmāntakṛta hayagrīva hulu hulu hūṃ phaṭ. Purify with this. Purify with svabhāva.
