I prostrate to the lama deity who grants the supreme deathlessness! Briefly gathering the method of practice and empowerment ritual of the life-essence of the vajra, I will write it as a concise essence. This has three parts: the arrangement of preparatory materials, the actual method of practice, and the ritual of empowerment for accepting disciples. First: On a well-cleaned and swept platform, in the center, place a longevity vase with ornaments on a mandala. To the right, longevity wine. To the left, longevity pills. In front, a torma and offerings. Also, in front of oneself, a vajra bell, damaru, inner offering, arrow banner, red board, activity vase, and flowers. Nearby, gather all necessary materials such as obstacle-removing tormas. Second: First, generate the boundary deity: Purify with Oṃ hrīḥ padmāntakṛta vajra krodha haya grīva hulu hulu hūṃ phaṭ (藏文，梵文天城体，梵文罗马拟音，汉语字面意思). Purify with Svabhāva. From emptiness, on top of a lotus and sun disc intertwined, instantly transform oneself into the powerful and wrathful Hayagriva, holding a curved knife in the right hand and a skull cup filled with blood in the left, with a green-black horse head, neighing like a horse. Adorned with the eight charnel ground ornaments, residing in the center of blazing wisdom fire. Purify the obstacle-removing torma. From emptiness, from Oṃ, a vast and spacious jewel vessel arises, filled with a clear and unobstructed torma, distinguished by the five desirable qualities. Consecrate by reciting Oṃ āḥ hūṃ (藏文，梵文天城体，梵文罗马拟音，汉语字面意思) three times. Recite Oṃ sarva vighnan etc. three times and dedicate. Hrīḥ! All you hosts of demons, obstacles, and spirits, do not remain in this place! Take this torma and depart elsewhere! If you do not leave, by the command of the great and wrathful one, you will be destroyed like particles of dust! Banish obstacles with Sumba etc. Above, below, and in all directions, without exception, are vajras and the fire masses of the five wrathful families. Without any space in between, it is filled, forming a protective wheel-tent. Do not transgress the boundary! Om

以班杂ra恰ra恰梭哈（藏文：བཛྲ་རཀྵ་རཀྵ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ།，梵文天城体：वज्र रक्ष रक्ष स्वाहा，梵文罗马拟音：vajra raksha raksha svāhā，汉语字面意思：金刚 守护 守护 梭哈）封界。之后在遍满虚空的皈依境前，我等众生从今直至菩提果，皈依三根本寿命之神。为获成圆满利他之佛陀，发起修持不死持明之心。如是皈依发心三次。于积聚资粮之初，自身观为大自在，从融入光中显现之怙主无量寿佛心间放光。迎请与上师无二无别的无量寿佛众眷于前方虚空。以嗡 萨瓦 达塔嘎达 阿尔冈（藏文：ཨོཾ་སརྦ་ཏ་ཐཱ་ག་ཏ་ཨརྒྷཾ།，梵文天城体：ओṃ सर्व तथागत अर्घं，梵文罗马拟音：oṃ sarva tathāgata arghaṃ，汉语字面意思：嗡 一切 如来 供品）至夏达 扎底扎 梭哈（藏文：ཤབྡ་པྲ་ཏཱི་ཙྪ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ།，梵文天城体：शब्द प्रतीच्छ स्वाहा，梵文罗马拟音：śabda pratīccha svāhā，汉语字面意思：声音 领受 梭哈）之间供养。以何者之恩德，大乐自性，于刹那间显现。如珍宝般的上师之身，金刚持于莲足前顶礼。以及，引导世间之主尊无量寿佛，摧灭一切非时死之威德，无怙 痛苦所困者之救护，向无量寿佛顶礼。如是向上师及本尊顶礼。奉献圆满普贤供云大海。忏悔一切罪堕，随喜一切善根。祈请常转法轮，长久住世。以此等为代表之善根，生生世世，皆为无量寿佛所摄受，为获不死寿命之成就而回向。如是积聚资粮。观想资粮田融入自身。祈请加持：从西方极乐世界刹土中，祈请世尊怙主智慧无量寿佛，祈请于此时赐予我等一切不死寿命之成就。祈请将修持之誓言物，内外一切，注入寿命光彩、威德能量之力量。祈请以大自在之身，消除罪障违缘，赐予所愿之果，寿命持明。从智慧自显成就之宫殿中，空行自在母秘密智慧，赐予不死寿命之成就等如前。从莲花光之广大宫殿中，上师莲花生大士颅鬘力，赐予不死等。从高耸金刚秘密之宫殿中，证得双运果位之吉祥金刚足，赐予不死等。从舟津日光环绕之宫殿中，一切胜者之本体索南嘉措。

Sealed with Vajra Raksha Raksha Svaha. Then, in front of the refuge field that fills the sky, I and all beings, from now until enlightenment, take refuge in the three roots, the life deity. In order to attain the Buddha who perfects the benefit of others, I generate the mind to accomplish the immortal vidyadhara. Thus, take refuge and generate the mind three times. At the beginning of accumulating merit, one's own self is visualized as the great empowerment, and from the melting of light, rays of light emanate from the heart of the protector Amitayus. Invite the Amitayus deity assembly, inseparable from the lama, into the sky in front. Offer with Om Sarva Tathagata Argham to Shabda Pratichchha Svaha. By whose grace, the great bliss itself, arises in an instant. The body of the lama, like a precious jewel, I prostrate at the lotus feet of the Vajra Holder. And, the chief guide of the world, Amitayus, the glory that destroys all untimely death, the protector, the refuge of those who are suffering, I prostrate to the Buddha Amitayus. Thus, prostrate to the lama and the yidam. Offer a vast ocean of perfect Samantabhadra clouds of offerings. Confess all sins and downfalls, and rejoice in all virtues. I pray that you turn the wheel of Dharma and remain for a long time. With these as examples, may all lifetimes, be taken care of by Amitayus, and may I dedicate myself to attaining the accomplishment of immortal life. Thus, accumulate merit. Imagine that the field of merit dissolves into oneself. The blessing is: From the pure land of Sukhavati in the west, I pray to the Bhagavan Protector, Wisdom Amitayus, to grant us all the accomplishments of immortal life at this time. Infuse all the substances of accomplishment, inner and outer, with the power of life, radiance, and energy. May the great empowerment body purify sins, obscurations, and obstacles, and grant the desired fruit, the vidyadhara of life. From the palace of self-arisen wisdom, the Dakini's empowerment, Secret Wisdom, grant the accomplishment of immortal life, etc., as before. From the great palace of Padma Light, the master Padmasambhava, Skull Garland Power, grant immortality, etc. From the high-rise Vajra Secret Palace, the glorious Vajra Feet who have attained the state of union, grant immortality, etc. From the palace of Druzhi encircled by sunlight, Sonam Gyatso, the embodiment of all victors.
