In order to grant the subsequent permission of body, speech, and mind, visualize in this way. As light radiates from the three letters at the three places of the guru, from the place of self-nature, the essence of the body, speech, and mind of the Lion-faced Ḍākinī, surrounded by hundreds of millions of ḍākinīs, is invited forth from Oṃ (藏文：ཨོཾ，梵文天城体：ओ，梵文罗马拟音：oṃ，汉语字面意思：嗡), Āḥ (藏文：ཨཱཿ，梵文天城体：आ，梵文罗马拟音：āḥ，汉语字面意思：啊), and Hūṃ (藏文：ཧཱུྃ，梵文天城体：हूँ，梵文罗马拟音：hūṃ，汉语字面意思：吽) in the manner of one lamp dividing into two. As the three letters dissolve into the three places of you all, the blessings of body, speech, and mind enter. The obscurations of body, speech, and mind are purified. The fourth empowerment is obtained through the gate of words. Meditate with the conviction that the body, speech, and mind of the Lion-faced Ḍākinī and your body, speech, and mind are blessed as inseparable. Perform incense offerings and music at the respective intervals. Having blessed in this way, the body is made to possess the conduct of meditative absorption. Speech is left in its natural state, allowing the breath to flow freely. Sever all the movement of thoughts of the three times of the mind. Generate the certainty of knowing that the root of all that is stable and moving, vessel and essence, is one's own mind. In short, understand that the nature of the mind is nothing whatsoever, its radiance is unceasing great bliss, its potential manifests in various ways, and it transcends what is meditated upon and the meditator, like the sky. Abide in that state for a short while. These are the meanings of the four empowerments, such as the vase empowerment.
