Abandoning the conceptualizations that cling to temporary changes. The aspects of the truth of cessation are four: cessation, peace, excellence, and definite emergence. The liberation that completely abandons all suffering is the aspect of cessation because it is the liberation of abandoning suffering. Peace, because it is the liberation of abandoning afflictions. Excellence, because it is the liberation that has become the nature of benefit and happiness. Definite emergence, because it is the liberation of non-regression. By meditating in this way, one gradually abandons the conceptualizations that believe that liberation does not exist at all, that some contaminated distinctions are liberation, that some natures of suffering are liberation, and that although there is liberation, it will regress. The aspects of the truth of the path are four: path, accomplishment, reason, and definite emergence. The wisdom that directly realizes the meaning of selflessness is the aspect of the path because it is the actual path that leads to liberation or the path that belongs to it. Accomplishment, because it is the wisdom that directly realizes various selflessnesses. Reason, because it is the wisdom that acts as an antidote to afflictions. The aspect of definite emergence, because it is the wisdom that makes suffering non-regressive. By meditating in this way, one gradually abandons the conceptualizations that cling to the path of liberation not existing at all, that some natures of meditation are the path of liberation, that some contaminated distinctions are the path of liberation, and that there is no path of liberation that completely ceases suffering. Sixth, these four are called noble truths because they are true as seen by the noble ones and not untrue as clung to by childish ordinary beings. Seventh, the classification of the four truths is repeatedly taught in both the Great and Small Vehicles, and because it is the key to the cycle of existence, which is summarized by the all-knowing one, it is extremely important for accomplishing liberation. Moreover, there are many key points of practice, and because it is necessary to learn in this order, its necessity is proven to be extremely great. Second, explaining the classification of the twelve links of dependent origination, there are seven points: the general nature, the individual distinctions, the summary, the function, how many lifetimes are completed, the way of meditating, and the benefits of meditating. The first point is, as the meaning taught in the Rice Seedling Sutra and as explained in detail in the Sutra on Dependent Origination and its commentaries, those actual

What is said is in terms of dependent origination. In general, that which is established in dependence is the definition of dependent origination, and that which is established in dependence on its own causes and conditions is the definition of dependent origination. The second is that there are twelve links from ignorance to old age and death. The first is ignorance, which generally includes two types: ignorance of karma and its results, and ignorance of suchness. The former leads to lower realms, while the latter accumulates karma that leads to both higher and lower realms. Regarding ignorance of suchness, both Prasangika and Svatantrika schools consider it to be all forms of grasping at inherent existence, but Prasangika believes that all grasping at inherent existence is pervasive with ignorance, while Svatantrika does not hold this view. According to the Svatantrika school and below, the conception that persons are inherently existent and self-sufficient entities is ignorance. Therefore, the Prasangika and Svatantrika schools differ in their identification of the root of samsara. In any case, it is agreed that such ignorance in the minds of ordinary beings, which are ignorant of the meaning of selflessness according to their respective systems, is the root of samsara. Therefore, the initial ignorance of the twelve links and the ignorance of selflessness are said to have both innate and imputed forms. However, in the minds of noble beings, there is no ignorance that serves as the initial link of the twelve. Most scholars believe that ignorance of karma and its results cannot exist as the motivation for action, which is the cause of karma, but it does exist for the motivation of time. The second, action, is karma, which includes three types: non-meritorious actions, meritorious actions, and unwavering actions. The third, consciousness, is said to be the six consciousnesses in the sutras, but here it mainly refers to mental consciousness. For it, the habitual patterns of accumulating virtuous and non-virtuous actions, the consciousness of this life is the consciousness of the causal time, and when connecting to the place of rebirth in the next life, it becomes the consciousness of the resultant time. Therefore, both are counted as one, called the dependent origination of consciousness. The fourth, name and form, where name refers to feeling, perception, mental formations, and consciousness, which are the non-material aggregates of name, and form refers to curd and so on. If one is born in the formless realm, there are seeds of form.
