The karma that propels rebirth, such as meditating on the four concentrations and the four formless absorptions, is unwavering karma, the third type. The third is like the primary mind that is concordant with the origin of afflictions and karma. Furthermore, when classifying the origin of karma, there are the karmas of the three doors of body, speech, and mind that belong to it, as well as unspecified karmas. The characteristic of cessation, which is the result of separation from the path truth that has become the means of self-attainment, is divided from the perspective of verbal expression: non-discriminating cessation, cessation by deliberation, ultimate cessation. Similarly, there are cessations with and without ornaments, with and without remainder, completely perfect and incompletely perfect. The first is like the aspect of abandoning the cutting of virtuous roots by anger in the continuum of one on the peak of the path of joining, the aspect of abandoning birth in the lower realms from the patience of the path of joining, the aspect of temporarily separating from attachment to manifest desire realm afflictions in the continuum of ordinary beings, and the aspect of ceasing the imputed belief in truth in the continuum of the unobstructed path of seeing of the Great Vehicle, where the lower path has not preceded. The second and cessation truth are the same in meaning. The third is like the cessation truth in the continuum of an arhat who has attained the six superknowledges. The fourth is like the cessation truth in the continuum of a person who has not attained superknowledge. The fifth and sixth are with or without the aggregates of appropriation, or according to the Consequentialists, the two nirvanas with or without the remainder of the appearance of truth. The seventh is the learner, and the eighth is the cessation truth in the continuum of the non-learner. The wisdom of the noble continuum, which abides in the category of causing the separation from the cessation truth that has become the result of one's own separation, is the characteristic of the path truth. Without distinguishing between the real and the imputed, it is divided into the five paths, such as the path of accumulation. From the perspective of essence, the path truth of the noble continuum of the three vehicles is divided into three. How the two cessations and paths are attained is that all the noble wisdoms that counteract what is to be abandoned, both imputed and innate, which are actually abandoned, also become the cause of separation from the cessation truths that one actually attains. When those wisdoms actually abandon those to be abandoned, then the aban

When it is abandoned in such a way that it is no longer reborn on the stream of consciousness, it will be attained. Therefore, that is called the Truth of Cessation. Liberations that are the same as this are also established as the Truth of the Path, which is the cause of the abandonment of the Truth of Cessation, and abide in the category of the Path. Fourth, the two, suffering and origin, mainly exist in the continuum of ordinary beings, while the two, cessation and path, exist only in the continuum of noble beings. It is said that impure realms are the Truth of Suffering, but pure realms are not. Therefore, Sukhavati and the ordinary beings there are not the Truth of Suffering, while other ordinary beings, their aggregates of appropriation, and the karma and afflictions in their continua are definitely the Truths of Suffering and Origin, as appropriate. The continuum of the noble beings of the Lesser Vehicle has aggregates of appropriation, so it has both the Truth of Suffering and the Origin of Karma. However, the continuum of the noble beings of the Great Vehicle does not have the two, suffering and origin, so the karma and afflictions in their continua are not origins. The suffering of conditioning exists in all three realms, while the other two exist only in the desire realm. Fifth, the aspects of the four truths are sixteen, including impermanence. Among them, the aspects of the Truth of Suffering are four: impermanence, suffering, emptiness, and selflessness. The aggregates of appropriation are characterized by impermanence, because they arise occasionally. They are suffering, because they are under the control of karma and afflictions. They are empty, because they are empty of a separate entity of a controlling lord. They are characterized by selflessness, because a self that is independent does not exist. By remembering and meditating in this way, one gradually abandons the four perversions of perceiving permanence, pleasure, purity, and self in the aggregates of appropriation. The aspects of the Truth of Origin are four: cause, origin, production, and condition. The two, contaminated karma and afflictions, are characterized by cause, because they are the root of their own result, suffering. Origin, because they repeatedly produce their own result, suffering. Production, because they intensely produce suffering. The aspect of condition, because they are the co-occurring condition of their own result, suffering. By meditating in this way, one gradually abandons the wrong views that suffering arises without a cause, that it is caused by a single cause, that it is caused by Ishvara, etc., and that it is eternally inherent in nature.
