The seed of words for the theory of the Four Noble Truths and Dependent Origination. The seed of words for the theory of the Four Noble Truths and Dependent Origination. A treatise called "The Seed of Words for the Theory of the Four Noble Truths and Dependent Origination" is present. All causes and effects of arising suffering, the path truth is abandoned by nectar, the source of achieving deathlessness is cessation, may that supreme teacher bestow auspiciousness! There are three here: the theory of the Four Noble Truths and Dependent Origination, and the order of how death and transmigration occur. In the first part, there are: definite number, order, difference in essence, whether or not it exists in a lineage, how to establish the form, meaning of the sound, and purpose. The first is: for those who desire liberation, it is necessary to determine, and the main thing for entering and reversing is that the number of truths is fixed at four. The cause of entering samsara is the truth of origin (samudaya), the result is the truth of suffering (duhkha), the cause of reversing is the truth of the path (marga), and the separation result is the truth of cessation (nirodha), these two are definite. Secondly, the Bhagavan has spoken of two orders in which the Four Noble Truths are taught in many sutras. That is, if we consider the order of cause and effect, first the origin, then the path, suffering, and cessation are taught. If we consider the order of arising of direct realization, then the four truths of suffering, origin, cessation, and path are taught in order. Here, if we explain it from the latter's point of view, there is a need to teach in that order. When entering into the acceptance and rejection of the four truths, one must first know how oneself and others are tormented by the suffering of birth, old age, sickness, and death, Therefore, in order to generate the mind of wanting to abandon it, the truth of suffering is taught first. Then, one must know where it comes from, knowing that it comes from the origin of karma of afflictions such as attachment, therefore one needs to generate the desire to abandon it, so it is the origin. After that, in order to generate the mind of wanting to attain the liberation of cessation, which is the abandonment of suffering and origin, it is the cessation. Then, in order to obtain that liberation, one needs to rely on the path truth such as wisdom that directly realizes selflessness in one's own mind, so the path truth is taught in the fourth place. For example, first we need to know the suffering of being tormented by disease. If we know that, we will generate the desire to abandon its cause. If that arises, we will generate the desire to obtain the happiness of being free from the suffering of disease, and for that purpose, we will take medicine.

Because it is like that, the venerable Maitreya said: Disease is to be known, the cause of disease is to be abandoned, happiness is to be attained, and medicine is to be taken. Suffering, the cause of suffering, the cessation of suffering, and the path to the cessation of suffering, should be known, abandoned, realized, and practiced. Therefore, if according to the order of cause and effect, the accumulation of afflictions produces the truth of suffering, and the path of purification obtains the truth of cessation from the path of purification. Third, although there is not much difference in the entity, there are many different ways of understanding the definition. Here, if understanding is the main thing, then the aggregates of clinging left by the truth of accumulation, which is based on its own cause, is the definition of the truth of suffering. Distinguishing it from the essence, like the stinging pain of the body being tormented by strong feelings, is the suffering of suffering; like the pleasure felt by craving the taste of delicious food, is the suffering of change; like the five aggregates left by karma and afflictions, is the pervasive suffering of conditioning. In addition, like this place of the desire realm and the impure vessel world, and like us ordinary impure sentient beings. In addition, like the iron-burned ground of hell 2. The five aggregates of clinging are like 2. Becoming like that, the result of maturation 1 and, the master fruit 2. Also distinguishing from the way of feeling, there are the suffering of birth, old age, sickness and death, the fear of meeting enemies, the fear of separation from loved ones, the suffering of not getting what one wants, and the suffering of evil deeds, etc. eight kinds. The self-fruit, which produces the truth of suffering, and the aggregates of clinging that are in the same category, is the definition of the truth of accumulation. Distinguishing, there are afflictions, karma, and three kinds of accumulation other than that. The first is, becoming like that, the six root afflictions, desire, anger, pride, ignorance, doubt, wrong view, and twenty secondary afflictions. The second is, the actions that lead to the good destinies of the desire realm, such as abandoning the karma of killing, and the contaminated karma of giving. Becoming like that, the merit of. Leading to evil destinies. Such as the non-merit of killing and not giving. The gods of the form and formless realms.
