Transformation. Therefore, having completely abandoned pride, With the desire for the fruit of Buddhahood, The yogi who rides the Vajrayana, Should strive to please the Lama. Thus it is said. The four elements such as earth, Likewise, the four emptinesses, And the eight abodes, Should be known as the cause of birth and death. From the clear light arises the great emptiness, Within that, the means truly arise. That which is born from the body is wisdom, From that, wind will arise. From wind, fire truly arises, From fire, water will arise, That which is born from water is earth, From those, sentient beings arise. Earth dissolves into water, Water dissolves into fire, Fire enters the subtle realm, Wind also dissolves into mind, Mind transforms from what arises from mind. Mind enters into ignorance, That also goes into the clear light, The three realms of existence will cease. With the samadhi like an illusion, Until one does not see one's own nature, At that time, with the beginning of time, One will enter the wheel of existence. Self-awareness is like an illusion, It is not the realm of logicians, It abides within one's own body, Yet those with little merit cannot find it. That unchanging nature of one's own body, Only the supreme one can know, By using metaphors to approximate it, It is through the kindness of the Lama's instructions. Earth and water, and so on, Like treasures and jewels hidden away, Likewise, omniscience within the body, Due to delusion, it cannot be seen. Illusion, mirage, Gandharva's, City and Indra's bow, The image in a mirror, The moon in water and echo in a valley, Dreams, cataracts, clouds and lightning, What is called a water bubble, The examples of illusion are twelve, Completely shown in various ways. This is an extremely clear image, Focus on the image that is seen. By showing three illusions, It is earnestly and strongly proclaimed. The image in a mirror, The rainbow and others, The third is like the moon in water, One should meditate on that form. Thus it is said. The happiness of the five desirable qualities, Children say is a bondage, By that very Dharma nature, the yogi, Can even attain the state of Buddhahood. Thus it is said. Form, sound, and likewise smell, Taste, and tangible, desirable things, Joy
