In the treatise "Compendium of Practices Lamp," which clarifies the meaning of the Five Stages, authored by the master Āryadeva: In the treatise "Compendium of Practices Lamp," which clarifies the meaning of the Five Stages, authored by the master Āryadeva: In the treatise "Compendium of Practices Lamp," which clarifies the meaning of the Five Stages, authored by the master Āryadeva: I prostrate to that which is without substance, utterly pure, and equal to the sky! I prostrate to that which is without remainder, without words, and devoid of letters! I prostrate to that which reaches all times, past and future! I prostrate to that which is entirely empty of all that is without remainder! Thus. And, in order to clarify the five stages of suchness: the suchness of mantra, the suchness of mudra, the suchness of self, the suchness of dharma, and the suchness of deity. And, quoted from the Vajraśekhara Tantra: Vajrapāṇi asked: Blessed One, what is the ultimate truth, the place of all dharmas? The Blessed One replied: Lord of Secrets, all dharmas are the aggregates, elements, and sense bases, and those that go and do not go. And that, in the ultimate truth, in the manner of having no place, the ultimate truth is selflessness, unconquerable, all empty, without increase, without decrease, utterly pure, equal to space, the very nature of being without stain, without letters, without words, separated from body, speech, and mind, is not existent, is not non-existent, does not go, does not not go, is not far, is not near, is not empty, is not not empty, and is not even the middle way. This is the ultimate truth. Therefore, it is most profound, difficult to enter, without birth, and without cessation. That which arises from causes and conditions is the conventional truth, which appears like a dream, like magic, like an image, possessing the samādhi like an illusion, its own characteristic being the cause of the four abodes of Brahmā, this is the conventional truth. This order of joining these two in union is the samādhi of the nature of reality itself, which is called the suchness in which all objects are completely pacified. Thus. And, quoted from the Laṅkāvatāra Sūtra: Blessed One, the appearance of one's own mind

Is it entered all at once, or gradually? How does one become completely pure? The Blessed One said: Great wisdom, one's own mind becomes completely pure by entering through the sequence of appearances, not all at once. For example, great wisdom, the fruit of the mango tree matures gradually, not all at once. Like this, after extensively explaining with examples such as learning to climb, again, in the same way, those who abide in the Vajrayana and wish to learn the samadhi of courageous conduct should also learn this sequence. The sequence is as follows: First, one should learn the thought of the Buddha Vehicle. When the thought of the Buddha Vehicle becomes familiar, then one should learn the samadhi of single-minded recollection of the new vehicle. When one becomes familiar with the samadhi of single-minded recollection of the new vehicle, then one should learn conceptual yoga. When one becomes familiar with conceptual yoga, then one will fully abide in the samadhi of the first practitioner. When one abides in the samadhi of the first practitioner, then one enters into the distinctions of the hundred families. When one is skilled in the distinctions of the hundred families and knows that the body is completely isolated, then one will abide in the body vajra samadhi. Having abided in complete isolation of the body, one enters into complete isolation of speech through the gate of vowels and consonants. When one knows the breath and effort through the sequence of vajra recitation, then one will fully abide in the speech vajra samadhi. Having abided in complete isolation of speech, one enters into complete isolation of mind through the sequence of naturally arising appearances. When one is truly familiar with the various distinctions of the wind's mount in naturally arising appearances, then one will enter into the samadhi of mind. Having abided in the complete understanding of the mind as it is, one enters into the conventional truth through the twelve examples of illusion. When one enters into the illusory samadhi, then one obtains the empowerment of the Buddha. When one obtains the empowerment, abiding in the illusory samadhi, one enters into the ultimate truth through the sequence of the eighteen great emptinesses.
