Mantra recitation. Those who strive in discipline relax their vows and become messengers for householders. The Asura forces increase, and the black nāgas will send various diseases. Thus it was said. On the topic of impermanence, composed by the teacher Delightful Lord: Because all compounded things, Change due to conditions. Like a dewdrop on a blade of grass moved by the wind, It is impermanent. Thus it is said. Form, enjoyment, hearing, And discipline, etc., are not permanent. Even those who are free from desire, Have not been seen to abide forever. Thus it is said. In "Guidance to the Good Path," composed by the teacher Hero, it says: That which is called discipline is the experience of the bliss of abandoning faults, therefore it is discipline. Or, it cultivates the bliss of no regret and receives praise for the transmission of qualities from one to another, therefore it is discipline, which is receiving. Or, discipline and samādhi, from the root of the word, become discipline, which is the meaning of truly restraining the actions of body, speech, and mind. Among them, the three kinds of virtuous practices of the Brahmanical system will be practiced. As for speech, there are four. Such as what was said. Or, it is the coolness that has become discipline, that is, until the end of death, It is the meaning of completely pacifying the suffering of the mind. Thus it is said. That which is called Prātimokṣa is Prātimokṣa because of Prātimokṣa, this path goes to Prātimokṣa, just as the road to the city is called the city road. Or, because of individual liberation from sins, it is called Prātimokṣa or vows, because it is learned, it is purified and liberated, or it is the meaning of not destroying the great devotion to the abundance of merit. Or, because it protects and liberates, it is called protector-liberator, because it protects from misconduct or all defilements and the evil realms. Thus, etc., are explained very much. Among them, the groups of transgressions are of seven kinds: pārājika, saṃghāvaśeṣa 7, and the gross offenses of both, prāyaścittika, and
