Thus, through numerous Vajra words, a single understanding was established. Second, regarding the classification of the path: Generally, all the teachings spoken by the Buddhas are contained within the expressing three pitakas and the expressed three trainings. Among these, the Hearers (Śrāvakas), with the mind of renunciation, take any of the seven classes of individual liberation vows, mainly focusing on restraining all collections of misdeeds through discipline, which is higher discipline; practicing meditative absorption of form and formless realms, etc., which is meditation; and directing the mind in accordance with the aspects of enlightenment, which is the training of wisdom. Our own tradition, on top of these, meditates on the path of dependent origination and relies on the wisdom of discernment. Bodhisattvas mainly practice the discipline encompassed by aspiration and engagement, benefiting others; rely on the perfection of tranquility meditation and higher insight wisdom; in Vajrayana, the mantra discipline obtained through empowerment; and by practicing single-pointed concentration, integrating the key points of the Vajra body through the profound means of the completion stage, thereby gaining mastery over the suchness of all phenomena, which is the wisdom of the Great Seal (Mahāmudrā). Third, regarding the result: The Vaibhāṣikas consider the Buddha's body to have two aspects: the liberation Dharmakāya and the maturation Nirmāṇakāya. The Sūtra school, Mind-Only school, and Madhyamaka school consider there to be three bodies and four wisdoms. The lower three tantras, such as the Kriyā tantra, hold the view of the three bodies similar to the Perfection Vehicle, but differ in the view of aspects. The Caryā tantra and below do not consider the Nirmāṇakāya to have five families, but the Yoga tantra and above consider it to have five families. Mahāyoga acknowledges the classification of four bodies, and there are also teachings on five bodies in the instructions of Yoga-īśvara, etc. These were also collected by Abhaya. Homage! The venerable Sakya fathers and sons explain the classification of grounds and paths as follows: That is, the last three grounds cannot be traversed by the path of the Perfection Vehicle, because these three grounds can only be traversed by the path of Unexcelled Yoga. The winds and minds of the twenty-four places entering the central channel give rise to the ten grounds; above that, the winds and minds of the eight outer petals of the heart chakra and the five hidden channels entering the central channel give rise to the remaining three grounds.

Now it is necessary, because the method of generating it depends on the unsurpassed path of yoga. If there is concern that the Perfection Vehicle cannot traverse even the tenth ground, it is because the Perfection Vehicle distinguishes the realization of the grounds below the tenth ground by means of both body and mind, so the Perfection Vehicle is of the nature of an external path. The remaining three grounds are called the three hidden ones. The eleventh ground is hidden in meaning but not in name. Although the name is known as Perfection, the meaning belongs to mantra. The twelfth ground and below are learnable, and the thirteenth is taught as unlearnable. The twelfth ground is hidden in both name and meaning, because the name and meaning are not known as such in Perfection. The thirteenth ground is hidden in name but not in meaning, because the name of the thirteenth ground is not known, and the meaning is established on the path of not learning the Great Vehicle, so it is known there. Therefore, only the name of the eleventh ground is known in Perfection, but that is not real, because the real one is pervaded only by the path of actual practice. Therefore, although the two, Perfection and Mantra, are in agreement in the characteristics of the Buddha, the three bodies and five wisdoms themselves, and the completion of all abandonment and realization, the bases are not the same, because the former is established on the eleventh ground and the latter on the thirteenth. If the Perfection Vehicle does not attain the actual fruit of Buddhahood, wouldn't it be meaningless? The Perfection Vehicle itself attains up to the tenth ground, and it is impossible not to enter the Mantra path after that, so before that, the Mantra path can be attained with less effort. In the Hevajra, the path of learning, which includes places and nearby places, is divided into twelve grounds, and at that time, the four winds and minds of the four places within the two great places gathered by it enter the central channel, and the four dakinis of the four external places are brought under control, so the realization of the first two grounds is accomplished, and similarly, when the two internal and external places are brought under control, the 28 grounds from the third to the tenth are accomplished, and when four fours are brought under control, the 32 eleventh and twelfth grounds are accomplished, as it is said. In the Root Tantra of Chakrasamvara and the seventh chapter of the Samputa, when the first four of the twenty-four places are brought under control, the first two grounds are attained, and when the remaining two twos are brought under control, the tenth ground is attained, as it is explained, and on top of that, when the two, Unexampled and Great Wisdom, are added, it is consistent with what is said in the Lexicon. The thirteenth ground, which is not learned, is: the wind and mind of the five channels hidden inside, and the remaining great places outside.
