Because of emptiness of self-nature, unconditioned emptiness. Emptiness beyond boundaries is easy to understand. Samsara has no beginning, no end, and no middle, so emptiness of no beginning and no end. It is not like water in a bottle changing from existence to non-existence, but all dharmas are inherently empty by nature, because there is nothing to be removed, so emptiness of non-abandonment. All dharmas are not created by Sravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, and Tathagatas, nor are they conditioned by nature, so emptiness of self-nature. Skandhas, dhatus, ayatanas, etc., all conditioned and unconditioned dharmas are empty by their respective characteristics, so all dharmas are emptiness. Form, feeling, perception, etc., are merely imputed names, without real establishment, so emptiness of no-thing. Dharmas arising from aggregation are not produced autonomously, but arise dependently, so emptiness of no self-nature. The seeing and knowing that realizes no-thing is called the self-nature of no-thing. This seeing and knowing is not established by seeing, nor is it created by knowing, because it is empty by nature, so emptiness of the self-nature of no-thing. Each of the eighteen emptinesses is pervaded by eight extremes. The way to explain the four great reasonings of the Madhyamaka school's establishment: First, the Vajra Splinter Reason is to examine the cause of what is to be refuted, thereby refuting what is to be refuted, that is, the nature of dharma is only the essence, but in the ultimate sense, it is empty of all arising things that arise from self, other, both, and no cause, just like there is no thing in the general appearance. The Existence-Nonexistence-Arising Refutation Reason is to examine the result of what is to be refuted, thereby refuting it, that is, the dependent origination of the appearance of dharma is also empty of the three of existence, non-existence, and arising of the result on the cause in the ultimate sense, like this, from where the existence, non-existence, and arising of cause and result are empty, and it is empty of all arising things, just like although there is no thing, it is expressed by self-nature. The Fourfold Arising Refutation Reason is to examine both cause and result, thereby refuting it, like this, appearance is also empty in the ultimate sense, knowing one from one, knowing many from one, knowing many from many, knowing many from
