Here, verses for the long life prayer composed for Bongwa Serzig. Like the increasing radiance of the gods, possessing the blessings of the emanation of Amitayus, and with a brocade cushion adorned with various vajra patterns, as specially bestowed. In the white portion of the month of Mrigasira (Smin-drug, twelfth month in the Tibetan calendar), on the auspicious tenth day at sunrise, with the auspiciousness of excellent dependent arising, appearing with joyful mind, again offering auspicious words to the lord of men. And the appearance of the immortal body, speech, and mind vajra, longevity pills, etc., immediately offered by Jamyang Lama's joyful attendant Khyentse Wangpo, may the light of goodness be constant and pervasive in all directions and times! Uniquely rejoicing solely in benefiting others, with the power of diligence of a billion white qualities, being equal to all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, may it be constant, pervasive, and spontaneously accomplished. 4. With the virtuous deeds done with the nectar of uncontaminated meditation, entering and rising in a hundred doors of samadhi, having exhausted the army of unbearable demons, may the victory drum of accomplishing immortality be beaten. 5. From the very beginning, since it transcends this shore of birth, who leads to the ultimate shore of cessation? Therefore, with the charm of profound wisdom, may you uniquely regard this cool land of beings with compassionate eyes. 6. Especially in the supreme place approached by accomplished ones, unimpededly increasing the desired virtuous deeds, again, may you cause the lotus of the two benefits to bloom from within with the joyful moonlight in this direction. 7. May I also be embraced at all times and places by the actions of the great sovereign, may the obstacles to practicing the good path be eliminated.
