In this auspicious time, when the white rays of the waxing moon in the water-snake year shine brightly, our teacher, the King of the Shakyas, first bestowed the nectar of peaceful Dharma upon the assembly of the five excellent disciples in the Deer Park at Ṛṣipatana. To ensure virtue in the beginning, middle, and end, I offer a pure white divine garment of auspiciousness. As an auspicious connection for the complete qualities of the three trainings, I offer a blessed image of the supreme teacher, the King of the Shakyas, made of red copper. Along with this, I also scatter a rain of white flowers of auspicious pronouncements, emerging from the pure reservoir of intention. May the aspirations of the Shakya monk Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo Kunga Tenpai Gyaltsen Pal Zangpo be fulfilled, and may the wisdom eyes of the lama and the precious Three Jewels bestow their blessings! May the white lotus of vows, complete with the renunciation of misdeeds, the fragrance of gathering all virtues, and the sweet nectar of accomplishing the welfare of sentient beings, perfect the auspiciousness of the spring of morality! May it never be trampled by harmful places, may there be patience to endure hardships for the sake of the Dharma, and may there be no fear of the profound meaning, so that arrogance and its retinue may be crushed! May the armor of intention be exceedingly splendid with diligence, may the activity of gathering Dharma blaze with great brilliance, and may the light of benefiting others reach the ends of the directions, so that the conduct that pleases the Victorious Ones may be upheld! May the wisdom of the Tathagata who rejoices greatly be attained, and may the truth of the noble path be accomplished. Through much learning, enter the realm of words; through proper reflection, cut off the superimposition of general meanings; through one-pointed meditation, realize the truth of meaning. May you reach the other shore of profound wisdom. May all sentient beings be fully ripened by the four objects of collection, enter the faultless path of liberation and the stages, purify all the fields, and at the end of existence and peace, may you become non-abiding nirvana. With the ten powers, the four fearlessnesses, and the unmixed qualities, may you perfect all the qualities of supreme enlightenment, and may the deeds and activities of teaching the path of liberation to those to be tamed never cease. In short, on the excellent tree of long life, with the two fruits of bodhicitta hanging abundantly, may the auspicious signs of the Buddhas, including their sons, be accomplished by the white fame that makes contact meaningful. Thus, the holy person who follows the chief of the Shakyas, who was already accomplished as a great Bodhisattva, the son of the Buddhas, at the time of again greatly increasing the power of the lineage through the power of the ritual, in the auspicious time of the Buddha's turning of the wheel of Dharma in the year of Rabtse Karpo (year of the white increase), in the name of the son of the Buddhas, the virtuous Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo, Lodrö Gyatso, the stainless light, offered auspicious divine substances and the words of Sakya Pandita, the extensive teachings on the Prajnaparamita, and the treatise 'The Excellent Path of the Buddha's Sons,' etc. May it be meaningful, and may the lamas, Buddhas, and their sons grant their blessings to accomplish it. May there be auspiciousness and glory, the glorious lama, etc. Śrīḥ Bhīḥ Śrīḥ Svasti Vijayantu (Tibetan, Devanagari: श्रीः भीः श्रीः स्वस्ति विजयन्तु, Romanized Sanskrit: Śrīḥ Bhīḥ Śrīḥ Svasti Vijayantu, Literal Chinese meaning: Auspicious, Fear, Auspicious, Auspicious, Victory). May there be auspiciousness and glory, may the glorious lama and the countless deities of the mandala, without separation, constantly bestow goodness upon you, like the sound of music and the falling rain of flowers. Like Manjushri, with supreme wisdom, may you have perfect fortune as the lord of Dharma, possess the glory of achieving great bliss and immortality, and may your virtuous deeds always increase. May you renounce samsara, be disciplined by the vows of individual liberation, may the two bodhicittas of benefiting others arise from the depths of your heart, may you receive the great secret empowerment, and may your vows be pure. May you be accomplished as the supreme Vajradhara. The venerable one with three kinds of kindness.
