I, the Shakya ascetic, a subject pleasing to the Lotus-born Lama, Khyentse Wangpo, Padma Do-ngak Lingpa, pray that this may be accomplished accordingly. May the Lama, Victorious One, together with his sons, bless it! A prayer for the long life of the incarnation of the supreme Shechen Rabjam, the glorious protector of the teachings and beings. Om Swasti Siddham. The unchanging Samantabhadra's wisdom is well established as the protector of the ocean of teachings. The sun of eloquence, glorious Victorious One in all directions, supreme guide, I pray that you remain for hundreds of kalpas! The power of compassion, beyond change and without object, the supreme way of upholding the teachings of the Lotus lineage, fully manifested as the master of the ocean of scholars and siddhas, may the three secrets be accomplished as immortal! May the guide, father and son, always live and thrive, and may the teachings of both explanation and practice flourish and expand. In all the vast lands of Jambudvipa, may the light of benefit and happiness pervade the three realms! Thus, on the occasion of the new moon-like face of the incarnation of the incomparable protector of the teachings and beings, the supreme Shechen Rabjam, the unchanging Samantabhadra, the sun of the teachings, Glorious Victorious One in all directions, and the nephew, the precious incarnation, the unchanging Padma Tendzin, the master of the ocean of scholars and siddhas, are given names, along with a prayer for their long life. This is offered with reverence, wearing the words of the Regent Rinpoche like a garland of jewels on my head. I pray that the prayer of Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo, the solitary renunciate, may be accomplished accordingly. May the Lama, Victorious One, together with his sons, bless it! Please look upon us, these wretched ones! Therefore, the supreme state of mind, free from defilements, is perfected in the realm of luminous reality. May the illusory dance of non-learning, the union of wisdom, swiftly manifest the image of emanation. With the fivefold perfect vision, may you hold the world close as you wish. May all obstacles be pacified, and the three aspects of listening, contemplating, and meditating be perfected. May all purposes for the teachings and beings be spontaneously accomplished. May the truth of the root and lineage lamas, the three jewels, the yidam deities, the dakinis, dharma protectors, and guardians, and the infallible power of dharma nature, phenomena, cause, and effect, be fulfilled as we pray. This was also requested by the great pillar of the early translation teachings, Shechen Labrang. Shakya's renunciate, Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo, prayed with intense devotion and whatever arose, may it be fulfilled as it is. May the lamas, victorious ones, mothers and sons, and their retinues, bless us. May you uphold the conduct of the great chariots in spreading the victorious teachings through teaching, debate, and composition. Through the blessings of the ocean of the Three Jewels and the root, may all obstacles be pacified and all wishes be spontaneously fulfilled for the sapling of the Victorious One, the glorious lama. May there be auspiciousness for the flourishing of the benefit and happiness of the teachings and beings. This is an offering of the name and a prayer for the long life of the supreme emanation guide, Gyaltsab Orgyen Tenzin Jigme Chokyi Nangwa. From Katok Monastery, the Vajra Seat of Tibet, the Land of Snows, Kyabgon Kuzu Rinpoche bestowed the vajra command upon my head, which I respectfully cherish. Khyentse Wangpo Pema Osel Do-ngak Lingpa, a renunciate and a servant who pleases the Lotus-Born Lama, prayed that it may be fulfilled as it is.
