Adorned with youthful beauty, I pray to the three-fold Vajra Holder! Having thoroughly listened extensively, reaching the end of the ocean, Properly contemplating, wisdom is supremely vast, Meditating single-pointedly, seeing the profound Suchness, May self-benefit be manifestly accomplished! Possessing limitless qualities of being learned, disciplined, and virtuous, Expounding, debating, and composing, making the Buddha's teachings clear, With wisdom, love, and power, leading the three realms of beings, Establishing them in the glory of benefit and happiness, I pray to them! In short, the all-pervading master Avalokiteśvara, With the wisdom of knowing the essence of all refuges combined, With unwavering single-pointed devotion, I pray, May you bless me to be inseparable and always follow you! Having obtained the precious human birth, remember the certainty of impermanence, Strive properly to adopt and abandon actions and their results, And from the suffering nature of cyclic existence's perfections, May renunciation arise from the depths of my heart! With the wisdom of knowing all beings pervading space as my parents, From the vast love and compassion that arises, With the two Bodhicitta of aspiration and engagement, May I train in the conduct of the Bodhisattvas! Especially, may my being ripened by pure empowerments, And protecting the vows and commitments like my life, And relying on the swift path of generation and completion stages, May I attain the state of union! May the wisdom mind of manifest qualities, the embodiment of the Three Jewels, be revered by you. Through the power of such single-pointed and respectful supplication, may all obstacles to the practice of the sacred Dharma be pacified, and may all favorable conditions be completely fulfilled. May the excellent path that pleases the Buddhas be brought to its ultimate completion. This was also requested by the great virtuous friend Pende Zangpo with a pair of auspicious divine objects. This supplication was made by Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo, the lowliest of students who has received a little of the nectar of the excellent speech of that holy object of praise. May it be virtuous and auspicious! Son of the Vajradhara Empowerment Ocean's Mind, the precious teachings of explanation and accomplishment, the one whose activity makes them flourish and increase, I supplicate at the feet of the glorious Lama. He has gone beyond abiding by discipline, listening, contemplating, and meditating. His excellent deeds of teaching, debating, and composing are wondrous. Possessing the glory of wisdom, love, and power, remembering the biography of the Lord of Dharma, I supplicate from my heart. Through the blessings of such supplication, may the stainless teachings of the Buddha spread in the ten directions, and may all beings, including myself, be cared for by the Lama. May we quickly attain enlightenment by merging our minds as one. This was also written by the renunciate Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo at the request of the diligent practitioner and holy Lama Sonam Rabgye. May it be virtuous and auspicious! Through the blessings of such supplication, may the all-pervading Lord of all lineages, the great Vajradhara Empowerment, always care for us with his wisdom gaze, and may the two purposes of self and others be spontaneously accomplished.
