Written on the second auspicious day of the miraculous month in the Earth Female Bird year at the Tharpa Tser Zhiwa palace of glorious Evam Chöden, the source of many virtues, I pray with pure intention, may all be auspicious! A Rain of Blessings: A Prayer to Khenchen Thamsed Khyenpa Jampa Kunga Tenzin. Thus abides "A Rain of Blessings: A Prayer to Khenchen Thamsed Khyenpa Jampa Kunga Tenzin." With the compassion of Maitreya, and all the victorious Buddhas with their sons, together with the deities, in the form of the supreme Joyful Dharma Holder, the very embodiment of Vajrasattva, the master of the fully manifested lineages and mandala oceans, I pray that your feet remain firm! The accumulation of renunciation and pure discipline, having crossed to the far shore of the ocean of supreme Bodhisattva conduct, manifested from the wisdom of the clear light Mahamudra arising from the two stages, I pray that you look upon us! The garden of delight for the learned and wise, where the flowers of wisdom born of thought beautifully blaze, with the nectar of single-pointed meditation, bestowing the rest of benefit and happiness, I pray for your grace! On the vast, immortal path of teaching, debate, and composition, with the radiant light of wisdom, love, and ability shining forth, causing the lotus garden of the wise, virtuous, and excellent to flourish, I pray to the all-seeing sun of Dharma! All the definitive secrets of the Tripitaka and Tantra, and especially the profound Dharma of Manjushri the Youth of the Sakya lineage, the supreme captain of the ocean of oral transmission, I pray to the complete master of the teachings! Always striving to benefit others, with the immeasurable activities of the four means of gathering, dispelling the decline of the three realms, I pray to the guide of beings, together with the deities! Although with wisdom you have long abandoned the bonds of existence, yet with compassion you do not abide in the extreme of peace, having attained the state of omniscience, the indivisible union of form and wisdom, I pray to you! In short, supreme master, glorious Lama, with the wisdom that knows you to be the essence of all refuges, from the depths of my heart I pray with intense longing, until enlightenment, hold us inseparable! May the teachings of the Able One spread in the ten directions, may the supreme Dharma Holders live for hundreds of kalpas, and may the glory and prosperity of definite goodness and higher realms never cease for myself and all beings, bless us!
