May the lotus feet of the supreme upholders of the doctrine be firm for hundreds of kalpas. Please expand your activities, Padmasambhava. May all of you keep this in mind! This was composed at the request of Sonam Gyaltsen Rinpoche, the Chakto monastery's Uzin, a great accomplished one proficient in crafts and sciences, offering flowers to Orgyen Rinpoche, the sole refuge for beings in this degenerate age. In the tenth day of the waxing moon of the first month of the White Hare year (1951), the community of Padma Osal Do-ngak Ling, the retinue pleased by the Lotus-born Lama, based on the subject of the Guru Yoga, wrote this in connection with the condensed meaning of the Seven-Line Prayer, and prayed. May it be virtuous and auspicious! O wisdom body of all the guides with their retinues, who grants siddhis as desired upon remembrance, Lotus-born Vajra, the embodiment of all refuges, I pray from the depths of my heart, please have compassion for your child! If we, your protectors, follow in your footsteps, may we never be under the control of others, but with our own unerring wisdom, may we learn to walk the path that pleases the Buddhas! In the secluded and delightful peaceful medicinal lands, without neglecting the vows of teaching and practice, through the activities of the great Bodhisattvas, may we be able to accomplish the great benefit of the entire doctrine and beings! May we increase the immortal life, merit, and wisdom, and attain the heights of prosperity in samsara and nirvana, and may all our thoughts and actions be accomplished according to the Dharma, and may no obstacles or ill omens ever arise!
