To those whom I cannot persuade, I join my palms and offer suggestions, May they be in accordance with the Dharma of the Perfect Age. If understood, it is gold; if not understood, it is brass. If understood, it is a horse; if not understood, it is a cow. If understood, it is light; if not understood, it is darkness. If understood, it is medicine; if not understood, it is poison. Please observe what differences there are among these desires. If there are such scriptures, reasonings, and instructions that have been spoken, please kindly show them to me as well. To those who believe that everything is without basis or root, I also cannot persuade, Joining my palms, I make a suggestion: the Alaya consciousness, wisdom, the realm of Suchness, Are the basis, place, and support of all dharmas. Being indivisible, all-pervading, and universal, Please consider what is said in the Dharma of the Perfect Age. To all those who definitively divide all knowable things into existent and non-existent, And to all those who consider matter and consciousness to be existent, I join my palms and make a suggestion: the ultimate nature is the third aggregate, Neutral, intermediate, and neither male nor female are said to be supreme. The bliss and knowledge of the unconditioned, Wisdom, awareness, aggregates, elements, and so forth, from form to the unmixed dharmas, And the constant, stable, enduring, Yungdrung, unchanging, all dharmas from form to omniscience, And the perfectly established, unchanging nature of reality, all things from form to the Dharma of the Buddha, Are the ultimate of knowable things, the ultimate truth. It is unconditioned, not a conditioned thing. Please observe the supreme scripture that speaks in this way. Beyond this conventional reality, there are other supreme beyond, The thirty-six transformations of tastes and elements, the thirty-six transformations of aggregates, And the thirty-six aggregates, elements, and so forth. Although the ultimate of knowable things is Suchness, It is neither existent nor non-existent. Please observe the supreme scriptures that speak in this way. To those who believe that there is no true existence, I also cannot persuade, and I offer suggestions, Because the Great Nirvana is said to be true, the cessation of suffering is said to be the best of truths, Suchness is true, and other things are false, and the twelve truths, and so forth, The ultimate truth of nature is spoken in the Dharma of the Perfect Age. Please observe these well.

So! Always perceiving as permanent has the fault of eternalism, always perceiving as annihilation has the fault of nihilism, always perceiving as existent has the fault of existence, always perceiving as non-existent has the fault of non-existence. I cannot agree with these views, so I join my palms and offer a suggestion: perceiving as permanent has both faults and merits; perceiving as impermanent also has both faults and merits; perceiving as pure also has both faults and merits; perceiving as impure also has both faults and merits; perceiving as happiness also has both faults and merits; perceiving as suffering also has both faults and merits; perceiving as self also has both faults and merits; perceiving as no-self also has both faults and merits; perceiving as existent also has both faults and merits; perceiving as non-existent also has both faults and merits; perceiving as annihilation also has both faults and merits. These are explained in the Dzogchen teachings, please consider them. Believing that there is no Buddha in the nature, not accepting the unconditioned Buddha, not accepting the eternal and stable Buddha. I cannot agree with these views either, so I join my palms and offer a suggestion. The ultimate truth, the indivisibility of the realm of reality and wisdom, is the first Buddha, the fundamental Buddha, eternal, stable, steadfast, Yungdrung pervading space. Suchness is called Buddha and Bodhi. These are explained in the Dzogchen teachings, please consider them. Believing that there is no wisdom in the nature, not accepting that self-arisen wisdom is eternal. I also offer a suggestion regarding these views. The wisdom that is inseparable from a single moment and multiplicity, is called Suchness by the supreme Buddhas. These are explained in the Dzogchen teachings, please consider them. Believing that the Tathagatagarbha is provisional meaning. I cannot agree with these views either, so I join my palms and loudly offer a suggestion. The Tathagatagarbha is Suchness, and Suchness is also the Tathagatagarbha. If the Tathagatagarbha is provisional meaning, then Suchness would also become provisional meaning, the ultimate Dharmakaya would also become provisional meaning, the Svabhavikakaya would also become provisional meaning, the nature lineage would also become provisional meaning, the profound Prajnaparamita would also become provisional meaning, the great Madhyamaka would also become provisional meaning.
