The emptiness of form, which is the nature of suchness that is fully accomplished, is not form, nor is it the essence of form. Because in all aspects it is devoid of the appearance of form. This is its conclusion. Having said that, if form does not exist in all aspects, then what is empty? This should be called emptiness. Emptiness without an object is also non-existent, and dharma and dharmata should not be different, nor should dharma be different from dharmata. Because of such doubts, it is said that even in emptiness there is no form. If asked, how will it be shown? It is like this, for example, unclean water is called turbidity in the unclean state, and water in the clean state. Just as the state of the sky that is not clean is called haze, and the state of being clean is called clear sky, so this emptiness, for each ordinary person, in the impure state, because it has not become other, so the words of form, etc., are spoken, and in the pure state it is called emptiness. Therefore, from emptiness, form and other dharmas have not become other. This is its conclusion. Thus, dharma and dharmata have not become other, and when dharmata speaks of dharma, form itself is also called emptiness. When dharmata is spoken, emptiness is also form. Or, form itself is emptiness, and emptiness is form. Emptiness is suchness, which refers to the form of dharmata. Thus, those forms that are imputed and discriminated are extremely non-existent, and for the perfectly accomplished form, it is also impossible to abide, therefore, do not abide in form. Having said this, it should be applied to feelings and so on as well. This is what the great Madhyamika Asanga said. On page twelve and a half. When practicing, do not cling to letters beginning with the letter A (Tibetan: ཨ།). That is to say, relying on letters beginning with the letter A (Tibetan: ཨ།), the wisdom arising from the dharani that follows the meaning of non-arising is called the manifestation of letters.

It is said to be expressed by the word "earth," as stated by the Madhyamikas. In one letter, in two letters, in different words. Then, on a little more than one sheet of paper, it is empty due to impermanence. Regarding "impermanence," the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas consider impermanence to be the characteristic of arising and ceasing, which is the characteristic of imputation. The characteristic of impermanence for Bodhisattvas relies on the characteristic of non-existence. The meaning of non-existence is the meaning of impermanence. It is said that what is always existent is called permanent. Conversely, what is always non-existent and non-existent at all times is called impermanence by Bodhisattvas. Therefore, the characteristic of non-existence is, in ultimate truth, impermanence itself. Form is impermanent, and form is empty of its own nature of impermanence. This means that the impermanence in ultimate truth spoken of by Bodhisattvas, the characteristic of arising and ceasing imputed by Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, is empty of its own nature of impermanence. Why is that? Because it is not form itself. It is said that the suchness of the impermanence of form in ultimate truth is not the nature of the impermanence of form imputed. Therefore, the impermanence of form in ultimate truth is empty of the impermanence of form imputed. This is a concluding statement. If that were the case, dharma and dharmata would become different. There is such a thought. In the Eight Thousand Verse Prajnaparamita Sutra, the equivalent of this passage is, "Even apart from emptiness, there is no impermanence." The Madhyamikas say that even apart from emptiness, there is no form impermanence. Apart from suchness, there is no imputed form impermanence, just like clear water and the sky. This is a concluding statement. Because there is no becoming different, it is impermanence. It is said that form impermanence or emptiness is expressed by the word emptiness, which is a concluding statement. Similarly, all things should be applied in the same way. This commentary is a detailed explanation of the great treatise on Madhyamika. Although the expression of this text is somewhat awkward, it is consistent with the Eight Thousand Verse Prajnaparamita Sutra and does not deviate from this meaning.
