The tenth, instructions on the path of meditation: The tenth, instructions on the path of meditation: The instruction on "meditation" is: one should know the nature of ten. The realm of the unconditioned cannot be established, because the two are inseparable, so it is named as one seeing one. Here, the Tathagatagarbha with defilements is conditioned, and the Tathagatagarbha without defilements is unconditioned, as stated in both the 'Diminishment' and the 'Hundred Thousand Verses.' Then, from one line: "Because of not seeing, with the cause of increasing faith, one does not fear the profound Dharma, with the cause of increasing wisdom, that mind." Then, if nine lines are slightly missing, then one does not see. This sentence summarizes all internal and external phenomena. One does not see. This sentence summarizes all aspects of the evil destinies of afflictions. I am truly. Then, if three lines are remaining, then the seer is also no longer seen. This sentence summarizes the utterly non-existent and the imputed existent. The formless realm is also no longer seen. This sentence summarizes all phenomena of samsara. Then, if three lines are slightly remaining, then enlightenment is also no longer seen. This sentence summarizes all pure white phenomena. Then, if half a line is remaining, then "phenomena arising from mind" refers to the six entering consciousnesses and the alaya consciousness and those that are associated with it. As the Madhyamika said. Those are truly. Then, if three and a half lines, then "mind element" refers to the afflicted mind and those that are associated with it. As the Madhyamika said. Those are truly. Then, if four lines, then the three chapters are finished. Third volume. Thus, after explaining diligence in the ten instructions, its benefits are: Then, the venerable one asked. The benefits of diligence as stated in this and other passages are: what should be known is known, what should be abandoned is abandoned, what should be perfected is perfected through meditation, and what should be manifested is manifested through attainment. Among the four, the first, the benefit of knowing what should be known is: Bhagavan form. Then, if three papers and a half line, then the benefit of abandoning what should be abandoned is explained: Bhagavan, having realized desire, abandons it; having realized hatred, abandons it; having realized ignorance.

From the ground, abandon. Having realized the view, abandon. Thereafter, if there are no four lines, having realized harmful thoughts and anger, abandon. Thereafter, three lines. Having realized the nine pervasive connections, abandon. Thereafter, one line. Having realized the latent tendencies, abandon. Realm, contact, mental activity, consciousness-nourishment. Having realized the four types of nourishment, one should abandon them. Desire, existence, views, ignorance's bonds. Having completely realized the four bonds, one should abandon them. The flood of desire, etc. Having completely realized the four floods, one should abandon them. Attachment, harmful thoughts, ethics, asceticism, pride, pride in views. The four prides. Desire, views, ethics, asceticism, pride, clinging to the self-speech. Taking impermanence as permanence, taking suffering as happiness, taking non-self as self, taking impurity as purity. The four inversions. Thereafter, from two and a half lines, showing the benefits of completing what should be completely perfected. The path of the ten virtuous actions. Thereafter, two pages and eleven lines. Possessing the cause of obtaining the seven branches of enlightenment. Having obtained mastery over samadhi, the first dhyana. Thereafter, twelve lines. Having obtained what should be manifested, showing the benefits of manifestation. The gate of form and samadhi. Thereafter, two pages. Thus, after the four benefits are complete, again showing the two benefits of completing the intentions of sentient beings and completing all roots of virtue. Bhagavan. Thereafter, one line remains. Because of complete perfection, because of abandoning the ten non-virtues, therefore one does not fall into the lower realms. Because of destroying arrogance and respectfully serving the lama, the lineage is noble. Because of realizing the selflessness of phenomena, the Hearer Vehicle. Because of skillful means and not being attached to the Dharma, one should learn the great conduct of the Bodhisattva. Thus, it is shown last in order to distinguish the sections by the general collection of faults. Thereafter, about two lines. Great Bodhisattva. Because of not being skillful in means on the ground of aspiring conduct, the three spheres are not completely purified, on the other shore. Thereafter, one line remains. The faultless one. Also not entering the first ground, abiding in the bardo. This ground is the mind of enlightenment. Thereafter, one line remains. In the Dharma.
