The beginning of this lineage started from Mgar Tongtsen Yulsang, who became the inner minister of the Dharma King Songtsen Gampo. The sixth generation, Amye Gewa Pal, relied on Dam Lam Gyalwa Chokyang, the heart-son of Guru Rinpoche, and Lo (lower) Ba Yudra Nyingpo, Khon Lu'i Wangpo, and others, and accomplished attainments. In his later years, he went to Kham and resided in Denzalingchen. Arya Maitreya personally bestowed the Five Treatises of Maitreya. He became the master of Dzogchen. He directly saw the yidam Hayagriva Horse Neck) (lower part, 682) and Vajrakumara. The attainment object of Hayagriva, a yellow bell with the sound of a horse neighing, when shaken, the yidam deity actually appeared. The attainment object of Phurba, a black bell with the sound of Hūṃ, when shaken, had the power to make the eyeballs of the enemy of the teachings fall out. The oath-bound Dharma protectors and eighty attendants resided there, and holding the yellow bell with the sound of a horse neighing, he went to the realm of the Dakinis with his physical body. The black bell with the sound of Hūṃ was later taken to Shambhala by Mgar Tashi Pal from the fifth generation. Later, the twenty-second generation, Amye Jampa Pal Phyi Ma, also put on the feathers of a vulture and went to Tushita without abandoning his physical body. It is said that until then, they were all Nyingma siddhas. Later, Mgar Dampa Chosdingpa also directly saw Vajrakila, and the Phurba protectors were enslaved by him. Later, the thirty-third generation, Dechen Sonam Zangpo, and Chokyi Dorje of the Ngupa Chokyi Dorje brothers were Nyingma siddhas of the secret mantra. Dechen Sonam Zangpo initially had a relationship of offering with Gyalwa Kathokpa. During the time of his son Dege Wothar, he had a patron relationship with Thangtong Gyalpo, who was undeniably known as an emanation of Guru Padmasambhava. Later, Dege Kunga Gyatso was called the master of accomplishment, directly saw the yidam deity, and enslaved the Dharma protectors. He was even able to change hard stone like mud (lower part, 683). He was the great accomplished one who opened the door to the treasures of the sacred sites. Rigdzin Jatsön Nyingpo prophesied: "Transforming the image of sin into a feast offering and bestowing it, this is the yidam Guru who subdues existence."

Because it is a fierce weapon, affix this to your family's seal. It was prophesied that all upper regions would belong to the Sakya school, and all lower regions to the Nyingma school, so that the temporal and spiritual realms would not be fractured externally and would have no gaps internally. By acting in this way, the beginning of the flourishing of the temporal and spiritual realms was initiated, and the auspicious connection between these two great vidyadharas was perfectly arranged. From this, the eight manifestations of Guru Rinpoche were sculpted in the first pure chamber of the Great Temple, and all the deities of the Nyingma school were painted on the right side of the assembly hall, while the tantric sections of the New Schools were painted on the left side, thus making no distinction between the old and the new. The great lama Jampa Phuntsok also, due to the serpent-bodied Unchanging Vajra and the treasure revealer Dud Dul Dorje, and other circumstances, the aspect of interdependence was slightly diminished, causing a small rift between the temporal and spiritual realms. Later, Trichen Lama Sangye Tenpa, according to the instructions of Dudul Dorje himself, enthroned the treasure revealer Lungsal Nyingpo at the seat of Kathok Monastery and entrusted him with performing the rituals for the flourishing of the teachings, thereby restoring the interdependence. In particular, the connection with the great treasure revealer and vidyadhara Nyima Drakpa was well established (lower volume, p. 684). The great treasure revealer bestowed the empowerment of the great Lord of the Three Realms, the Great Powerful God, thus arranging the interdependence that could control the three realms of gods, demons, and humans. Later, Chögyal and Lama Lodrö Gyatso also performed the Great God ritual in the sequence of temporal and spiritual affairs, resulting in a prophecy of the further flourishing of the temporal and spiritual realms. The great treasure revealer subdued the stone god, the leader of the border army, under his feet, thus preventing the harm of the border army from occurring. He bestowed the prophecy of becoming a treasury of the Tripitaka, and so forth, becoming the root of the flourishing of the temporal and spiritual realms. The Sakya ruler Tenpa Tsering, as mentioned above, invited the great treasure revealer Nyidak. In particular, the accomplished and powerful vidyadhara Kunsang Özer from the Phyonggyas Palri hermitage in the pure land of Ü-Tsang came and performed the longevity ritual for this Dharma king, thus causing a stream of life-giving water to flow, and filling the vase of temporal power with butter pills.
