Regarding the matter of having realization, you mentioned to me in passing that the realization one has is just like a bee circling nectar, and that one's practice is only able to mix with adverse conditions. Other things, such as seeing the face of the deity in dreams, were not even mentioned in passing for fear of being spread abroad. During this period, the lamas were not there and the Dharma was in decline, but he ensured that the development of the monastery did not decline, that the Three Jewels and so on were not lost, and that the discipline and so on were even better than before, so he was extremely kind to his own school. After the death of Prince Choktrul incarnation Orgyen Peljor Gyatso, he performed the funeral rites and again enthroned the Choktrul incarnation, and went to Do Kham Derge (Derge, Sichuan, now part of Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture) to enthrone the third Nyizul Choktrul and so on. The great Situ of Derge (Derge, Sichuan, now part of Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture) invited him to the palace of Dongda Lhundrup Teng and performed the consecration ceremony for the Amitayus Temple. At the great secret Vajrayana Dharma College of Kathok, he also went to the incarnation period when Choktrul Rinpoche, the immaculate protector of the land, was inspecting. His deeds of body, speech and mind were very wonderful, and wherever he went, in Amdo and Kham, all people, high and low, were filled with joy and devotion. He laid the foundation for Nyizul Choktrul Rinpoche to ascend the throne of the former abbot. After that, the lord went to Tagong.
