That abbot's disciple, the Vinaya holder named Tson-drup Bar, was born in Yungdu, Tsang Rong (Upper Volume, 568), in the Iron Ox year. He took ordination and full ordination from the great Dre. He received the Vinaya from Sog Tsultrim Lama. After his passing, he studied with Gya Dul and Ma Tso Lama, who served as teachers, and became known as a wise man. There was even a saying, "To understand the Vinaya, go to Bya." At the age of seventy-six, he passed away in the meditation chamber of Zulphu. His disciple, the Vinaya holder named Tsi Dulwa Dzinpa Zhonnu Sengge, took ordination and full ordination from Bya Dul. He became very learned in the study of the Vinaya Pitaka. He was also the main disciple of Bya Dul and established a Vinaya college in Tongkhar Lung. His disciple, Palden Drumo Chewa, was born in the Water Snake year of the Bird year. His clan was Gra. He took ordination and full ordination from Tsi Dulwa and studied the Vinaya Pitaka. His name was Dud-tsi Drak. He widely listened to teachings from Tsang Nakpa and others. He saw the faces of the Thirty-Five Buddhas and Jetsun Drolma, as well as many other deities. He went to the seat of Narthang Monastery and carried out the activities of the Dharma for thirty-nine years. He passed away at the age of eighty. His disciple, Chamchen Namkha Drak, was born in Nyangto Taktshal in the Horse year. From a young age, he took ordination and full ordination from Palden Drumo Chewa. He expertly studied the places of the Tripitaka. He saw the faces of many higher deities. He maintained the assembly at the seat of Narthang Monastery (Upper Volume, 569) for thirty-six years and passed away in the Rat year. His disciple, Drakpa Sherab, was born in Nyangto in the Sheep year. He was from the Dung Ze'u family and was the younger brother of Khenchen Vinaya Holder Drakpa Tsondu. He took ordination and full ordination from Chimchenpo. He received thorough explanations of the scriptures and instructions from the Khenpo and his elder brother. After his elder brother, the Vinaya Holder, he served as Khenpo and maintained the monastic seat for twelve years. His disciple, Khenchen Lobsang Drakpa, was born in Phukha'ur, Nyangto Modro. His clan was Chim. He took ordination and full ordination from Ze'u Drak She. He relied on Ze'u Ku Mche and Gyangro Jangchub Bum, among other lamas. He greatly increased his understanding and realization of the sutras and tantras, as well as the instructions.

He served as abbot for a long time and passed away in the Year of the Rabbit. His disciple, Kunga Gyaltsen, was born in Chugoi Lung in the Year of the Tiger. His clan was Dro. He received his novice and full ordination from Chim Lozang Drakpa and was skilled in all scriptures and instructions. He also composed many commentaries on the 'Compendium of Discipline' and other works, and passed away in the Year of the Snake. His disciple, Drubpa Sherab, was born in Ronggu near Narthang Monastery in the Year of the Fire Bird. His clan was Phang. At the age of ten (570 AD), he was ordained by Kun Gyalwa and was given the name Drubpa Sherab. At the age of twenty, he received his full ordination in the presence of the same abbot, the master Drakpa Gyatso, and other monks. At the age of thirty-two, he became the abbot and served as the abbot for thirty years. Thus, from Drumo Chepa to Drub She, all were abbots of Narthang Monastery. The venerable Dipamkara pointed his finger at this site of Narthang and said, 'Sixteen great Arhats will appear in this place.' It is said that they were all emanations of Arhats. His disciple was Panchen Gedun Drub, an emanation of the noble Avalokiteshvara, who was born in Gurmiru in the Rulag area in the Year of the Iron Rooster. His clan was Ratsho. His name was Pema Dorje. At the age of fifteen, he received his novice ordination at Narthang Monastery from Abbot Drubpa Sherab and Master Jangpa Chenpo Loden, and was given the name Gedun Drubpa Pelzangpo. At the age of twenty, in addition to the previous abbot and master, Sangton Drakpa Sherab and a complete assembly of faithful monks, he received his full ordination and became a fully ordained monk. His main spiritual guides for study were Abbot Chenpo Drubpa Sherab, Narthangpa Sherab Senge, and Je Rinpoche and his sons, who were connected by karma and aspiration. In addition, he relied on about fifty spiritual friends and became a great master of knowledge, expanding his knowledge of all the doctrines of Sutra and Tantra and the arts. Bodong Panchen honored him with the title 'Omniscient One.' He built the main temple and great hall of Tashi Lhunpo Monastery, gathered many monks, and spent his entire life teaching and practicing the Dharma. At the age of eighty-five, in the Year of the Wood Horse, he passed away to Tushita Heaven.
