Be satisfied and leave this place, go elsewhere! If you do not go, I will emanate from myself, from the heart of the great one who is the common glory of all samsara and nirvana, a host of wisdom wrathful flames, and reduce all obstacles to dust, I will not fail! Hūṃ hūṃ hūṃ biśva vajra krodha jvala maṇḍala phaṭ phaṭ phaṭ! hala hala hala hūṃ! Recite the fierce mantra. Burn gugul incense and purify fiercely by afflicting with spells. Following that, contemplate the protection circle: Expel all those who belong to the lineage of life-cutting executioners. Gather back the rays of light and the wrathful assembly. Above, below, and in all directions, everything becomes an impenetrable vajra tent, forming a vast and extensive wheel of protection, within which the consciousness of the deceased, based on the support of name, form, and defilements, becomes calm and listens to the Dharma. oṃ vajra rakṣa rakṣa hūṃ. Thus it is said. Fourth, the introduction: The deceased does not know that they have died. Even if they know, they do not understand the nature of sorrow and the bardo appearances, so various fears will certainly arise. Therefore, dispel sorrow with the words of impermanence of compounded things, and introduce the three bardos in order. First, to dispel sorrow, in a state inseparable from love and compassion: Oh, so-and-so, who has passed away from this world to the next, you have died! Call out three times like this. Oh! The very thing called death and impermanence has suddenly happened to you, do not be afraid or sorrowful, abandon your distracted and confused mind, and listen well. Now, do you think that you alone have died? It is not so. In general, the nature of all compounded things is impermanent. The Bhagavan, the incomparable Shakyamuni, said in the Extensive Play Sutra: The three realms are impermanent like autumn clouds, the birth and death of beings are like watching a dance, the life of a person is like lightning in the sky, flowing swiftly like water flowing down a steep mountain. Thus it is said. In particular, even if you think about the outer container world, it is impermanent. The Ornament of Jambudvipa, the Naga King, said: The earth and Mount Meru, the ocean and the seven suns, these beings burned by the blazing fire, even ashes will not remain, what need is there to mention the very weak human? Thus it is said. Now, the foundation of all beings, the earth,

Mount Sumeru, the four continents, the eight subcontinents, and their surroundings will eventually be burned by seven suns, the ashes washed away by water, scattered by wind, and the time will come when the sky is empty. Similarly, thinking of the sentient beings within, they are also impermanent. As it is said in the Chapter on

Thus it is said. Moreover, in the 'Garland of Birth Stories' it says: 'A king possessing the seven precious things, and also other small kings and ministers, ascetics, Brahmins, householders, etc., all these beings are impermanent, like travelers in a dream.' As it is said, the most famous Brahma and Indra in the three realms, the gods such as Ishvara and Vishnu, and the wheel-turning kings who can rule the four continents, are also not permanent. Like the example of the human king born with auspicious marks, the king revered by many, the circumference of the wheel's spokes, etc., those who seem high and powerful now will surely face a time when even historical traces are gone. Thinking of various examples and meanings, all are impermanent. As it is said in the 'Wish-Fulfilling Treasury': 'Outer and inner four seasons change the years, therefore know that impermanence is certain death, abandon the clinging to permanence and strive diligently. Form is a particle, time is a moment, like lightning flashing in the sky, everything is impermanent.' As it is said, time also changes from the initial perfect age, then the three-part age and the two-part age, and now it has become the age of strife. Age also changes from being born in the womb, reaching the peak of youth, aging and declining, becoming sick and dying. The outer appearance also changes in one year: spring is the time for sowing seeds, summer is the time for leaves to flourish, autumn is the time for fruits to ripen, and winter is the time for the earth to dry and freeze, gradually experiencing the changes of the four seasons. Similarly, the waxing and waning of the moon, the alternation of day and night, the sequence of time, the imbalance of elements, etc., are also impermanent. All phenomena, coarse and fine, that appear as forms composed of particles will eventually dissolve into indivisible particles. The inner mind also changes impermanently in an instant due to good and bad thoughts, the three poisons of attachment, hatred, and ignorance, and thoughts of happiness and suffering. As the Omniscient Dharma Lord said: 'Because it is encompassed by four extremes, there is no permanent phenomenon.' As it is said, what is born is impermanent and will eventually die; what gathers is impermanent and will eventually disperse; what is accumulated is impermanent and will eventually be exhausted; what is high is impermanent and will eventually fall. These are the common characteristics of all conditioned phenomena. In short, the noble Nagarjuna said: 'Birth, old age, sickness, and death are like the patterns of weaving, the Lord of Death is like a fisherman killing fish.'
