You are the essence of view. All phenomena of samsara and nirvana are called "view" because they are directly seen by the senses. It is divided into the general view of phenomena and the self-view of dharmata. The general view is the different tenets of each of the nine vehicles. The self-view is: looking at the objects of appearance gathered by the six external aggregates, appearance has no inherent nature, like stars in the ocean; looking at the essence of emptiness of the inner dharmata, everything is not inherently established, like the center of the sky; looking at the secret awareness, without being limited to mental judgment, it is seen and realized by the senses, which is called the view of effortless perfection. The way to practice it is: looking at the external environment, everything that appears is seen as a dream and illusion, so delusion is not abandoned, it is purified in its place, and afflictions are liberated in their own place. Looking at the mind of moving thoughts, the collection of thoughts naturally disappears like fog in the sky. Looking at the secret dharmata, the clear light, there is not even a name for the clinging of resting in the state, and it ends in the original purity. Also, looking at the secret awareness, without being distracted from the essence of direct experience, it is naturally liberated from the view of mental judgment. In this way, the yogis of this view also see and liberate the meanings of other vehicles, as the root tantra says: When the essence of view is seen, there is no movement of mental judgment with words. And: The dharmata is directly seen by the senses, that is called view. Also, "The Lamp that Illuminates" says: There are two kinds of views: the view of phenomena and the view of dharmata. Those below Anu, according to their own tenets, only look at phenomena, so they do not touch the meaning of dharmata. Some kinds of Ati do not even see a small part of this. The Great Perfection of Thigle, with outer, inner, and secret, does not touch this meaning. Therefore, the great secret instruction is that the view itself is very secret. In the effortless view, it is seen with the eye of the one who does not see. Also, the tantra says: All outer, inner, and secret are seen and realized in the essence itself. Also, "Without Letters" says: Because there is no view, there is nothing to see in it. Know that the view is a state of effortlessness. Thus, if you realize the meaning of the non-dual view, then the meaning of the view is naturally without view. It is neither existent nor non-existent, in the state of clear light

To abide therein, thus it is said. In the Perfection of Lion's Might, it is said: The ultimate view of all Buddhas does not go beyond the two, space and awareness. Thus it is said. In the Lamp Illuminating, it is said: For example, if one goes to the summit of Mount Meru, one sees the lower mountains. One sees the meaning of the lower realms as they are. The lower ones do not see the higher ones. Thus it is said. In short, the essence of clear light is emptiness, its nature is clarity, and its compassion arises unceasingly. This is the view of meditative equipoise. And the understanding that all the various appearances of samsara and nirvana are without inherent existence, like a reflection of the moon in water, is the view of post-meditation. The best have no remainder of effort. The middling ones [attain liberation] in the bardo. The lowest ones attain Buddhahood in a pure land of the nirmāṇakāya. In the Union of Sun and Moon, it is said: The best do not need two lives. The middling ones [attain liberation] in the interval between two lives. The lowest ones, at the moment of exhaling their breath, are liberated in their own continuum by the nirmāṇakāya. Thus it is said. The Yoga of Meditation. Secondly, in the yoga of meditation, the view of meditating on the non-meditation, the continuous stream of the mind that meditates, and the method of posture, etc., are the essence of meditation. To continuously abide in the samādhi that possesses that essence is called meditation. It is divided into meditation with method, meditation with wisdom, and meditation with indivisible method and wisdom. The former includes limitless practices such as tummo and the path of means. Here, the meaning of the view above, the union of space and awareness, method and wisdom, the state of emptiness and clarity, without grasping, is to remain in single-pointed equipoise, without laziness intervening. Therefore, it is called the meditation of the union of day and night. The way to practice it is to divide it into sessions, without laziness or idleness. At the beginning of each session, generate bodhicitta. During the actual session, be without object and without distraction. At the end of the session, seal it with dedication. In short, without wavering from the view of meditative equipoise, practice clarity and emptiness without grasping. In post-meditation, practice as if in a dream or illusion. Furthermore, as it says in the tantra: The essence of meditation is method. What is to be meditated upon and the one who meditates are the meditation of method. Thus it is said. The definition of meditation is because of abiding. Thus it is said. The meditation of union with method, the meditation of the nature of wisdom itself, and the meditation of indivisible method and wisdom. That is the most profound of meditations. Thus it is said. That very view is called meditation in reality. Because day and night are spent with dharma, it is to meditate in union. Thus it is said. Having abandoned laziness and idleness,
