In short, for some who are dull-witted and cling to appearances as real, and for some who only look at the surface without delving deeper, if they experience the ability to manifest in various forms, appear in various colors, see a second image in a shadow or mirror, or think they know the minds of others, they should meditate on wrathful deities, recite fierce mantras, sing the (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हूं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hum) song, burn gugul incense, and wash themselves haphazardly with large and small amounts of nectar. They should smear their limbs with mud from old walls. If beings appear disguised as obstacles, gurus, or yidams, they should be dispelled by meditating on bodhicitta and emptiness. In particular, if it is not a pure wisdom dakini, but rather various worldly dakinis who show forms and prophesy from the sky, and only accomplish common siddhis, know that this is a sign of being untrue, and that attachment and aversion, affirmation and negation, will increase more than before. If it goes more and more against the Dharma, then you are under the control of a dakini. By resting in the meaning of no self-nature, the dakini will be under my control and unable to deceive me. These are said to be signs of obstructing maras. Therefore, one must carefully examine the differences between experiences and signs without confusing them, and strive not to let the obstructing maras control oneself. Furthermore, due to the combination of wind and mind, unreliable samadhi may arise suddenly, or uncertain images of deities and lights may appear in the sky. These are said to be signs of increase, decrease, and decline. In such cases, one should sometimes sit in the middle of water, with the neck submerged up to the height of a sixteen-finger-length wooden plank. Anoint the body with sandalwood and sesame oil, and rely on cooling foods. Recite the essence of unborn mind, the (Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Chinese literal meaning: A) syllable, and so on. In this way, the errors and deviations in experience can be corrected back to the correct path. Furthermore, because the body is very pliable and one has gained control over the limbs, the body becomes as soft and expansive as cotton, the complexion is good, there are no white hairs or wrinkles, the growth of hair and nails ceases, the five buddha families' seals appear on the body, the form of letters appears clearly on the body, one becomes youthful, white hair turns black, sprouts grow, and so on. Similarly, for speech, one can accomplish truthful speech, what is said benefits others, and does not

Not uttering vulgar words, naturally understanding various Dharmas, knowing various stories and sounds, hearing the words of Śrāvakas, Pratyekabuddhas, and Bodhisattvas, without the movement of breath in and out, and so on; the mind being stable in Samādhi for years and months, not needing food and clothing, being able to control the breath at will, the cessation of activities due to the purification of past and future thoughts, the arising of immeasurable compassion and the non-arising of afflictions, and so on, these are called the signs of immutable secrecy. It is said that the key is not to be stained by thoughts of acceptance or rejection of anything, and not to fall into the extremes of hope and fear. In the Rangshar it says: If the Ḍākinīs make impure prophecies, one should examine their practice and focus on their intention. It also says: When extraordinary wisdom arises in the mind, be sure to recognize the deception of Māra. When fearless conduct naturally manifests, be sure to recognize the direction of the application of wisdom. Thus it is said. Driving the Pegs of the Three Attainments Third, driving the pegs of the three attainments: By gaining mastery over external appearances, the conditions manifest in the pure land. At this time, if awareness is given to sentient beings, due to the key of awareness residing in self-born wisdom, it can enable all beings to achieve Buddhahood without doing good or bad deeds. If given to the external world, it can make it shake, make sounds, and so on. Like Orgyen (Padmasambhava) placing the king, ministers, and retinue in the supreme state, suppressing the sun from rising higher, and stopping the collapse of mountains with the sound of Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ,梵文:हूँ,hūṃ,seed syllable), and transforming the land of the Rakshasas into the Buddha-field of the three bodies, and so on. Internally, by gaining mastery over the Vajra body, the body with obstacles is purified into luminosity, and in this very life, immediately giving awareness to three thousand beings who are in accordance with aspirations, by the key of not doing good or bad deeds, he liberates them. Like mist dissipating into space, he merges into the inner space, and again, the radiance of the inner clarity merging without obscuration appears outwardly, from the spontaneously accomplished great pure land, like a face and a mirror, the Nirmāṇakāya and Sambhogakāya appear, and from the inexhaustible wheel of ornaments of the three secrets, the Sambhogakāya appears in accordance with the faculties, abilities, and wishes of the individual beings to be tamed, as well as the supreme Nirmāṇakāya, and various Nirmāṇakāyas such as crafts and births.
