It has the power to accomplish great benefit for beings. The secret is to gain mastery over wind and mind, so that even the consciousness of one who has committed the five inexpiable sins can be liberated together with one's own nature by entrusting it to awareness. One can pass unimpeded from mountain range to mountain range, from world to world, and so on. Limitless direct perceptions arise without obstruction. As it says in the previous text: "By fixing the nail of the three attainments, the contaminated aggregates will not appear." Showing the extent of liberation through the four confidences. Fourth, showing the extent of liberation through the four confidences. As it says in the Garland of Pearls: "The measure is the yoga of the four confidences." And as it says in the Heap of Jewels: "With the four great confidences of unchanging view, one also grasps the measure of irreversible wisdom." Therefore, at that time, the four great confidences that do not change show the extent of irreversible wisdom. That is, on the basis of self-awareness that has never been mistaken from the beginning, knowing that it is impossible to experience pleasure and pain, even if one hears of the suffering and lifespans of the six realms, one has the confidence of not being afraid or doubtful of falling into the lower realms. Knowing that samsara is not even established in name only, one has the confidence of having no hope or fear of experiencing the ripening of cause and effect. Knowing that there is no possibility of delusion or liberation in the nature of reality, one has the confidence of having no hope, desire, or effort for the ultimate result of grasping. Knowing that there is not even a particle of a buddha separate from self-awareness, and having arrived at that nature, even if one hears of the immeasurable qualities of the Three Jewels, one has the confidence of purifying in the equality of not grasping at characteristics and of joy and sorrow. In this way, the four aspects bring one to the limit, and practice is brought to completion. Thus, the necessity of the four supports is also explained in the tantras: "Temporarily, the meanings of one's own side are accomplished separately, and ultimately, the realization of the qualities of the higher ones is brought to completion." And that without them, completion is not possible is also explained in the tantras: "With the key instructions of the supports, the qualities of the higher ones are brought to completion." And: "Without the support of the key points of the supports, the practice of Dzogchen will not be brought to completion." Showing the way of liberation of the result. The common way of liberation. Third, showing the way of liberation of the result, there are two ways: the common and the special. First, the common way of liberation also has three aspects. The way of subduing the earth is, as it says in Self-Arisen: "The so-called earth is not something that exists separately, but is tru

For a sentient being, these grounds are complete and perfect. That is, the person who is shown the introduction, initially when seeing the truth, joy arises in him, this is the first ground, the Extremely Joyful Ground. Furthermore, recognizing that this is one's own appearance, this is the second ground, the Stainless Ground. Then becoming accustomed to this, this is obtaining the third ground, the Illuminating Ground. Then becoming accustomed to this and seeing the appearance of light, this is the fourth ground, the Blazing Ground. By this, seeing the appearance of wisdom, becoming accustomed to this, all defilements are naturally purified, and seeing wisdom, this is the fifth ground, the Very Difficult to Subdue Ground. Then, when seeing the body that has transcended light, this is the sixth ground, the Manifest Ground. Then, when practice reaches its culmination and defilements are far removed, this is the seventh ground, the Far-Going Ground. Then, in that state, qualities are perfected, this is the eighth ground, the Immovable Ground. Then, abiding unshakeably in those qualities, this is the ninth ground, the Ground of Good Intelligence. Then, having grasped knowledge of the appearance of wisdom, and the appearance arises spontaneously, seeing it like a cloud of Dharma, this is the tenth ground, the Cloud of Dharma Ground. This is established for those who have seen the truth of the person and have not abandoned this breath. For those who have abandoned their breath, it is established in this way. When confusion ceases and the appearance of clusters of light arises, this is the eleventh, the Ground of Universal Light. Furthermore, not being attached to that appearance and not being stained by all internal and external phenomena, this is the twelfth, the Ground of the Untainted Lotus. When rays of wisdom arise from one's heart center and five clusters of light abide in the expanse of space in the form of a wheel, this is the thirteenth, the Ground of the Great Assembly of the Wheel of Letters. Then, abiding in the appearance of wisdom, this is the fourteenth, the Ground of Great Bliss. Then, gaining certainty in the ground of spontaneous accomplishment, this is the fifteenth, the Ground of Samadhi. Then, in the ground of primordial purity, wisdom arises spontaneously, and there is nothing beyond it, this is the sixteenth, the Ground of the Wisdom Guru. Thus it is said. In the Longchen Nyingtik it says: For a sentient being who has seen the truth, from the first ground to the sixteenth ground, they arise by practicing in sequence. This is in accordance with other schools, regarding the way of obtaining temporary qualities and results. Thus it is said, with diligence and
