That is not the case. From "Self-Arisen": Appearances are the yoga of the mind; everything arises from my mind. If the nature of mind is realized, what is the use? Those who constantly say such things, I have not said are liberated. Thus. The uncommon introduction. Introducing the abiding reality on the ground of view. Introducing conceptual thoughts as mind. Secondly, the uncommon introduction has three aspects: introducing it on the ground of view, introducing it on the ground of practice, and introducing it through direct pointing. First, introducing it on the ground of the abiding reality of view: From the pith instructions: Then, introduce conceptual thoughts as mind, introduce mind as emptiness, introduce emptiness as appearance, introduce appearance and emptiness as non-duality, introduce non-duality as self-liberation. As it is said, there are five aspects. First, introducing conceptual thoughts as mind: Like this, all the objects of perception that appear in various ways are grasped separately by conceptual thoughts, saying, "This is this." However, even though the ground is one, it appears as different and distinct from each sentient being. Also, even to one person, different conceptual thoughts cause enemies, friends, and neutrals to appear differently. All phenomena are like dreamlike appearances, merely the illusion of conceptual thoughts. Because there is no true existence outside, whatever conceptual thoughts of objects and subjects arise, everything is made by the mind and does not move from the nature of mind. The nature of mind has not been seen, is not seen, and will not be seen even by the Buddhas of the three times. Therefore, there is nothing separate from the clear arising of conceptual thoughts that represent its characteristics. By introducing it in this way, one becomes certain that the various conceptual thoughts of objects and subjects are non-dual. As the Tantra of Clear Space says: The mind's memory, thoughts, and wisdom power, all appearances and cognitions are pure and do not deviate from awareness. Similarly, the Vajra Tent Tantra also says: Apart from the precious mind, there is neither Buddha nor sentient being. Thus it is said. Introducing the nature of mind as emptiness. Introducing mind as emptiness. Secondly, introducing mind as emptiness: That very mind is originally free from the eight extremes of elaboration, such as arising and ceasing, permanence and annihilation, coming and going, one and many. Because it is not established as "this" anywhere and cannot be represented by anything, it is certain that mind is emptiness. By introducing it in this way, by thinking

,you will certainly gain an understanding that transcends intellect and is beyond words. As it says in "Vast Expanse of Clarity": "When looking back at the mover itself, without abandoning, it is naturally liberated, like a breeze." And as it says in "Boundless Bliss": "The rootless nature of mind, cannot be found by searching, cannot be grasped. As it is, primordially, in the state of emptiness, inexpressible, self-born wisdom." Introducing Emptiness as Appearance Third, introducing emptiness as appearance: Although the essence of emptiness is unchanging from the beginning, because from the self-radiance of the all-illuminating awareness, the display of energy is unceasing, and various appearances arise without being mixed, therefore, emptiness is also appearance. By introducing it in this way, one will understand the meaning of how such appearances arise from the energy of the essence of emptiness-awareness, which is without birth, death, change, or movement. As it says in "Vast Expanse of Clarity": "Unceasing energy manifests as everything, the clear emptiness is aware and unchanging." And: "The nature of emptiness appears as everything, the characteristic of appearance is without birth." Introducing Appearance and Emptiness as Non-Dual Fourth, introducing appearance and emptiness as non-dual: In this way, that appearance itself, and merely appearance itself, has no other causes or conditions. Just as the self-energy of emptiness is like the reflection of the moon in clear water, or like various interdependent signs are reflected on the surface of a spotless mirror, appearance and emptiness are non-dual, each abiding in the essence of self-knowing. Therefore, appearance itself and emptiness itself are not two and cannot be made into two, they are neither separate nor different. By introducing it in this way, since appearance has no inherent existence, one will realize that appearance and emptiness are non-dual. As it says in "Union of Sun and Moon": "Who realizes that all objects of appearance, which are the objects of focus, have no inherent existence? For this person, appearance and emptiness are non-dual." Introducing Non-Duality as Self-Liberation Fifth, introducing non-duality as self-liberation: In this way, realizing appearance and emptiness as non-dual is also the essence of self-awareness, the unconditioned nature, the natural abiding without cultivation, free from all elaboration, clear and without clinging, the arising of various appearances is unceasing, the union of clarity and emptiness, uncreated and spontaneously accomplished, the wisdom of the co-emergent three kayas, in the realm of primordial purity, all conceptual thoughts become non-dual and self-liberated like a snake uncoiling. By introducing it in this way,
