Thereafter. The essence of emptiness and clarity abides as the Dharmakaya. The nature of clarity and emptiness is like the light of a sesame seed. Compassion, appearance, and emptiness dwell like a lamp. Thus it is said. Introducing the Three Jewels: The nature of mind is free from elaboration, the unerring basis is the Buddha. Words are free from letters, the non-dual meaning is the sacred Dharma. One's own body is free from movement, the unborn essence is the Sangha, all of these are naturally present and spontaneously accomplished within oneself. Moreover, in the "Six Spaces" it is said: The Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, are naturally complete and reside within one's own body. Thus it is said. Introducing the Three Kayas: From beginningless time, one's own body, formed from the self-radiance of the five wisdoms of awareness, whatever appears is the awareness Nirmanakaya. Speech is uninterrupted, clarity is the awareness Sambhogakaya. Mind is without conceptualization, awareness is the Dharmakaya, naturally and spontaneously accomplished from the beginning. From now on, the body is the three ways of abiding of the three kayas, speech is inexpressible, it is the nature of the Dharmakaya, and the mind is unborn, one must not stray from the meaning beyond the realm of thought. In the root tantra it says: Furthermore, all sentient beings of the three realms, do not stray from body, speech, and mind, therefore the three kayas need not be sought from elsewhere. Thus it is said. Introducing the Seven Groups of Five. Third, introducing the seven groups of five. The Five Kayas are: In the center of the precious citta, the bindu is a small part of the seed of wisdom, its essence is primordial purity, without defilement. Its self-radiance, the body and wisdom are inseparable, the light as clear as a lamp inside a vase, in the expanse of the sky, the light and bindus appear clear and subtle like a string of beads, this symbolizes the five kayas. The wisdom of awareness manifests as light, it is Vairochana. Its immutability is Akshobhya. The increase of clear light is Ratnasambhava. The immeasurable light is Amitabha. Uncontrived, naturally complete is Amoghasiddhi, it is seeing the faces of the Buddhas of the five families. Clarity without clinging is the path, perfecting familiarity is obtaining the result, in the tantra it says: One's own awareness manifests as the five kayas, Vairochana, Akshobhya, Ratnasambhava, Amitabha, Amoghasiddhi manifest. Thus it is said. The Five Wisdoms are: Before the separation of samsara and nirvana, the nature of the wisdom of awareness, stainless and clear, is the mirror-like wisdom. The essence of clear light is two

Half is the Wisdom of Equality; distinct and clear without confusion is the Discriminating Wisdom; effortlessly accomplished is the Accomplishing Wisdom; primordially empty and rootless is the Dharmadhatu Wisdom—these are the nature of the five wisdoms. To be without distraction and at ease in the meaning of luminosity, to have appearances without bias, to be without grasping at clarity, without needing effort, and to rest in a state of neither meditating nor not meditating is the path. Its culmination is the result. The Root Tantra says: 'Like a mirror, equality, and individually discerning, accomplishing and the Dharmadhatu wisdoms.' Thus it is. The five families are: the Vajra family because the essence of luminosity, appearance, and great emptiness is immutable; the Ratna family because qualities are perfectly complete; the Padma family because appearance is unstained by faults; the Karma family because all who are accustomed to it achieve without remainder; and the Tathagata family because this is the path of all Buddhas. To be accustomed to that state is the path; its culmination is the result. The Self-Arisen says: 'The Tathagata family and the Vajra family, the Ratna family, the Padma family, and the Karma family.' Thus it is. The five lights are: white because those luminosities are without impurity; yellow because qualities are complete; red because it is placed without effort; green because activity and skill are complete; and blue because it is unchanging and stable. Thus, it abides in five lights. To abide in that state is the path; its culmination is the result. The Tantra says: 'The qualities of awareness are clear as five lights.' Thus it is. The five winds are: the wind that is like fire because this appearance of luminosity is inseparable from the warmth of wisdom; the life-sustaining wind because it holds the life of samsara and nirvana; the separating wind because it separates the pure and impure of samsara and nirvana; the pervasive wind because it spreads equally to all; and the merciless kalpa wind of karma because it cuts off the life of samsara and causes transcendence of suffering. These are the five winds. To be accustomed is the path, and culmination is the result. The Self-Arisen says: 'The nature of awareness is five winds; it abides in all sentient beings.' The five wisdoms are: the discriminating wisdom because the nature of luminosity separates samsara and nirvana based on whether it is realized or not; the gathering wisdom because the power of wisdom gathers appearances; the pervasive wisdom because it pervades all; the moving wisdom because clarity includes coming and going; and the liberating wisdom because realizing that liberates from samsara. Thus, it abides in five wisdoms.
