Furthermore, it is called the Bardo of the Place of Birth. For this, it is necessary to sever the attachments through hearing and contemplation, like a caravan leader going to the Golden Island, or like a crow entering its nest. Just as a caravan leader accumulates ships and a crow examines its nest, from now on, rely on the holy lama. Do not let laziness and procrastination control the activities of hearing, contemplating, and meditating as taught by him. Strive diligently to sever attachments, so that even when the time of death arrives, you will be without sorrow or fear, but full of joy, like a son returning to his father's house. The Bardo of Dying. Secondly, from the approach of death until the complete cessation of inner breath, it is called the Bardo of Dying. For this, it is necessary to have a key instruction like delivering a royal message, or like a beautiful woman looking in a mirror to clarify what is unclear. That is to say, for individuals of Great Perfection who die like children, without calculating the signs of death, where they will die, or when they will die, this instruction is not necessary. However, for the best of the middling, who are not harmed by external circumstances and die like beggars at the crossroads of villages and roads, and for the middling, who are not harmed by external circumstances and die like wild animals and lions in empty valleys, caves, snowy mountains, etc., there are two instructions: the instruction of merging into the Body and Wisdom, the Clear Light Absorption. Now, when the sky is clear, the body should be in the lion posture, or any of the three sitting postures, with awareness focused on the expanse of reality. Think, 'I am definitely (ཞིན་ནམ།) approaching the time of death, so I will pass into peace in the realm free from elaboration.' After exhaling, leave awareness without any support. Become accustomed to this. When the time comes, remain in the lion posture, etc., focusing awareness on the eyes, and the eyes on the expanse of awareness. In the state of primordial purity, without grasping or rejecting, release the aggregates of life in this state, and liberation will occur in an instant. This is called the Introduction to the Secret Path, a very swift and profound essential path. The instruction of transference of consciousness for merging into a place and location is: According to the general instructions of the profound path of transference, especially when the last breath is exhaled, visualize awareness in the heart as a white A (अ,A,阿), rising upwards from the Brahma aperture. At the same time, repeatedly recite the syllable HIK (ཧིཀ,hik,嘿) twenty-one times in succession. Become familiar and accustomed to this.

E! At this time, it is also clearly stated that, regardless of the order of dissolution, one is liberated by the transference of consciousness of a Bodhisattva and enters into Nirvana. As stated in the "Sun and Moon Union Tantra": The method of entering the body and wisdom is to entrust awareness in this way. With the posture of a sleeping lion, awareness is entrusted to the eyes. For a moment, place it in the path of space. If the element and awareness are not swift, then this person will be without an intermediate state, and there is no doubt about attaining Buddhahood. Furthermore, the method of entering places and so forth is the instruction of transference of consciousness and entering another body. Consciousness rides on the wind and is trained. Among them, it is best to go upwards. It is best to gather and release awareness. Moreover, it is released with the sound "Hik." That is when one meets the face of the Guru. Thus. In the lower of the middle, even if one obtains the oral instructions, one does not possess the essential points, or in the general appearance of an ordinary person, the order of dissolution of the elements, the manner of the winds dispersing, the order of the gathering of appearances, and so forth, occur in sequence. Moreover, as stated in the "Sun and Moon Union Tantra": Earth dissolves into earth, the body is heavy and unable to rise, and all strength to rise and walk is exhausted. When water dissolves into water, saliva and nasal mucus drip. Likewise, when fire dissolves into fire, the mouth and nose become extremely dry, and all the warmth of the body's extremities is lost. Likewise, when wind dissolves into wind, breathing becomes rapid, the limbs tremble, and the eyes also turn upwards. Whoever experiences these signs will not remain here but will go elsewhere. At that time, the Guru's oral instructions should be integrated into one's own continuum. Thus. In the Tantra, it says: When the wind that discards function disperses, the body cannot support itself, the waist is weak, the limbs do not gather, it is difficult to speak, the eyes turn, and breath is exhaled outwards. When the wind that increases radiance disperses, the body becomes dry, dust accumulates on the mouth and nose, the flesh is hot, the mouth is dry, and one smells the odor of a corpse. When the wind that separates the refined and unrefined disperses, one does not take food and drink, and the body's strength is lost. When the wind equal to fire disperses, the body's warmth is lost from the extremities. When the wind of karmic connection disperses, the body itches, and there are many convulsions. The blood of the fine veins gathers in the life vein. Thus. At that time, appearances gather in this way. The external sense faculties, the functions of memory, gather with a buzzing sound like a dim evening. Awareness gathers in the center of the heart. Even if one speaks, one does not know, and mindfulness is lost. After that, the body's blood gathers and pours into the heart from within the life vein, the mouth and eyes
