It is also said that when the object of grasping and being grasped is exhausted and reaches the ultimate, one can attain fearlessness and tranquility through this. Examining the place of going and the goer. The third is examining the place of going and the goer: After that, regarding this mind that feels like it appears with a "wow" and disappears with a "yah," examine where it goes—outer and inner, container and contents, appearance and emptiness, existence and non-existence, etc. Because there is no place to go, it is determined that the appearance of external objects is created by the mind. Examining the mind of the goer, it is also impossible to ascertain, so it is confirmed that the object-possessing mind has no self-nature. Because the causes of the mind's arising, dwelling, and going are empty, the thought of clinging to the result with hope or doubt ceases. Knowing that the nature of mind is awareness, emptiness, and great compassion, free from going, coming, liberation, delusion, etc., one is convinced that enlightenment cannot be attained through fabricated dharmas. The mind to be observed, the observer who observes, and the place where the mind goes are all beyond thought, speech, and intellect. Without ascertaining the distinct essence and separate appearances, cut off superimposition. Thus, as a sign of the mind's training and mastery, the nest of delusion collapses, and the house of the mind crumbles. Knowing the essence of awareness and gaining conviction from within, awareness, clear and empty, abides immovably in its own nature. One encounters the emanation body of the Buddha and is never separated. Through this, one can discern all dualistic phenomena such as appearance and emptiness, arising and ceasing, and reveal their weaknesses, thereby jointly purifying the mental obscurations of the mind. Because one realizes that the mind is emptiness, one will not be hindered by obstacles. In particular, because the mind's clinging is reversed, one will not be deluded into samsara again. Ultimately, one is liberated in the great liberation that is inseparable from the Dharmakaya. The mind and intellect are perfected in the Vajra heart, thereby entering into Nirvana. Settling into the Natural State and Restoration. Settling the Three Doors into the Natural State. The fourth part is divided into settling into the natural state and restoration, divided into two. The first part is settling the three doors into the natural state, divided into three aspects: why settle into the natural state, how to settle, and the benefits. Regarding why it is necessary to settle into the natural state: In "The Blazing Lamp," it says, "Having distinguished the boundaries of samsara and nirvana, settle the body, speech, and mind into the natural state." And in "The Clear Expanse," it says, "Because the arising of body, speech, and mind is confused, settle them into the natural state in order to liberate them." This means that by distinguishing the boundaries of samsara and nirvana of outer and inner and the three doors, one abandons the conceptual thoughts to be abandoned of samsaric dharmas and the antidotes.

Whatever virtuous thoughts arise that transcend the mundane, focus your awareness single-pointedly on whatever appears clearly. By restraining the sensory consciousness from wandering elsewhere, the six consciousnesses gather as one. The mind that scatters to other objects is pacified. Although conceptualization may transform from being conceptual to non-conceptual, if initially, special preliminary methods are used to forcefully suppress thoughts, causing disturbances in the elements and energies, not only will the mind not abide, but it will also become an obstacle, making it difficult to generate samadhi. Therefore, without fixating on the supports of the six objects, and without clinging to any characteristics of what should be abandoned or cultivated, one should settle the mind in its own state, that is, settle into the uncorrected nature, which is called settling in its own state. How to settle the three doors in their natural state? The *Transcending Thought* says: "At this time, the key points of body, speech, and mind, the yogi should settle them naturally." The *After Death* says: "Then the three, body, speech, and mind, should be skillfully settled naturally." Therefore, the key to the body is to not accept or reject good or bad, but to let the mind settle comfortably in whatever posture is natural, whether cross-legged, squatting, or lying down, without moving like a corpse in a cemetery. The key to speech is to be free from speech, not even adjusting the flow of breath that sustains life, but remaining in a natural state like a mute. The key to the mind is to abandon the elaborations of good, non-good, and neutral, and to be liberated from thoughts and distractions, settling in a natural state like a cloudless sky. The *Extensive and Intermediate Prajnaparamita Sutras* say: "To practice yoga on the Prajnaparamita is to practice yoga on the sky." The meaning is the same. Thus, by possessing the yoga of non-action, the three doors are settled naturally without artificiality, just as muddy water becomes clear when left undisturbed. As it is said, if the water is not muddy, it is clear; if the mind is not fabricated, it is clear. The explanation of the benefits is: The *Vast Expanse of Clarity* says: "Thus, whoever settles in this way, pacifies disturbances of the elements and causes of disease, and clinging is naturally liberated." Therefore, by settling in this way for twenty-one days, or seven days, or three days, etc., the signs of temporarily settling are that the body remains still, and the speech
