It is integrated into the tantra. As it says in the tantra: When the wind that discards its function escapes, the body cannot support itself, the hips are weak, the limbs cannot be joined, it is difficult to speak, the eyes turn, and the breath is exhaled outward. When the wind that generates radiance escapes, the body dries up, dust accumulates in the mouth and nose, the flesh is hot, the mouth is dry, and the smell of corpses is smelled. When the wind that separates the essence and dregs escapes, one cannot eat or drink, and the body's strength is lost. When the wind that is equal to fire escapes, the body's heat is lost from the edges. When the wind of karma escapes, the body itches and trembles frequently, and the blood of the small veins gathers in the life vein. It is said. At that time, the appearance is like this: the external senses and memories are as dark as dusk. Consciousness gathers in the center of the heart, speech cannot be understood, and memory is lost. Then the blood of the body gathers and is injected into the heart from the life vein, the mouth and eyes become pale, and the breath is cut off to the length of an elbow. Then two drops of blood are injected, the head tilts, and the breath is cut off to the length of a fathom. Then three drops of blood are injected, hiccuping, and the breath is cut off to the length of an arrow. Then the external breath stops, and consciousness dwells in the center of the heart in a faint. Then the internal breath stops, and the bardo of dharmata appears. It is said. Now, if these are determined in the mind in order, it is like someone being sent a message by the king, and not forgetting it for fear of punishment, or like a beautiful woman looking in a mirror, clearly seeing her own appearance. Not forgetting for fear of falling into samsara, it is as easy to recognize as seeing a beloved lover when falling from a height. The Bardo of Dharmata. Third, from then until the end of the dissolution into the appearance of spontaneously accomplished wisdom, it is called the Bardo of Dharmata. For this, one needs instructions like meeting a friend on a dangerous road, or like a child entering its mother's lap. For this, after all the stages of dissolution when body and mind are connected are completed, at the time of disconnection, one briefly faints in the state of alaya consciousness, and as soon as one awakens, consciousness dissolves into the space of the dharmadhatu, and the peaceful dharmakaya space appears, empty and clear like a cloudless sky, free from obscurations. Recognizing this, resting in one's own nature without any modifications is the original companion of the primordially pure inner realm.

Self-liberation in the vast ground. Then, successively, in the Root Tantra, it is said: Here, the Bardo of Dharmata is explained. At the time of death, when the breath ceases, consciousness dissolves into space. When space dissolves into clear light, all coarse and subtle appearances cease. The senses are complete, and the body becomes a body of light, transforming like a body and its shadow. At that time, in the moment of a fragment of light, the wise seize it with the expansion of appearance. The moving winds expand, and the rays of five colors appear as indefinite rainbow patterns. Thus it is said. Then, dissolving into the union of clear light, even in the winds that enter and arise, the four directions, the intermediate directions, and the six directions of above and below, from the gathering of light from these directions, the bodies of the five families also manifestly appear. Blue, white, yellow, red, and green appear with their respective consorts. When perfected in their respective intermediate directions, with fivefold, hundredfold, tenfold, and clusters of thousands and hundreds of thousands, through the purity of the nature of thought, countless numbers appear that cannot be expressed. Thus it is said. In the Tantra, it is said: At that time, sound and light gather like rain, and the appearance of the body causes fear. Thus it is said. After that, again, in the Union of Sun and Moon, it is said: At that time, a very subtle light arises from one's own heart. When the light of the cluster of lights and the light of one's own heart are connected, then all those bodies are connected and appear in the hearts of all of them. At that time, one grasps it with one's own awareness and naturally abides in non-conceptual meditation. Therefore, it is called the entry of awareness into light, and all those appearances are perceived as flickering appearances. On that thread of light in the heart, countless subtle bindus also appear. Thus it is said. After that, again, a ray of light like a twisted thread arises from one's own heart. Then, the appearance arises that those bodies dissolve into one's own body, and this is called the light entering back into one's own awareness. At that time, practitioners should remember the profound instruction like a mother and child meeting. Thus, the key to entering knowledge. In the Tantra, it is said: The grasped and the grasper of the five aggregates are liberated into the Sambhogakaya. After the elements and afflictions are self-liberated, the clear light, mother and child, are liberated by awareness. Thus, the key to liberating the body. In the Union of Sun and Moon, it is said: A very subtle thread of light arises from one's own heart. This is the upper...
