As it says in the 'String of Pearls': 'The degree is precisely the yoga of the four confidences.' And in the 'Heap of Jewels': 'With the four great confidences of unchanging view, one also grasps the measure of irreversible wisdom.' Therefore, at that time, the four great confidences that do not change show the measure of irreversible wisdom. That is, knowing that experiencing happiness and suffering is impossible on the basis of self-awareness that has never been mistaken from the beginning, even if one hears of the suffering and lifespans of the six realms, one has the confidence of not being afraid or doubting of falling into the lower realms. And knowing that samsara is not even established in name, one has the confidence of having no hope or doubt in experiencing the ripening of cause and effect. And knowing that confusion and liberation are impossible in the nature of reality, one has the confidence of having no hope, desire, or thought of effort for the fruit of grasping at what is to be obtained. And knowing that there is not even a particle of a Buddha separate from self-awareness, and having arrived at that nature, even if one hears of the immeasurable qualities of the Three Jewels, one has the confidence of purifying attachment to names and equalizing joy and sorrow. Thus, the four aspects bring one to the limit and the practice is completed. In this way, the necessity of the four supports is also explained in the tantra: 'Temporarily, the meanings of one's own side are accomplished separately, and ultimately, the realization of the higher qualities becomes complete.' And that without them, completion is not possible is also explained in the tantra: 'Through the instructions of the four supports, the higher qualities are brought to completion.' And: 'Without the support of the key points of the four supports, the practice of Dzogchen will not be completed.'" , "english_translation": "Showing the way of liberation of the fruit." }, { "original_tibetan": "ཐུན་མོང་གི་གྲོལ་ཚུལ།", "chinese_translation": "共同的解脱方式。", "english_translation": "Common way of liberation." , "english_translation": "Third, showing the way of liberation of the fruit, there are two ways of liberation, common and special. First, there are also three common ways of liberation, namely the way of realizing the bhumis. As it says in 'Self-Arisen': 'The bhumis do not exist elsewhere, but in one person who sees the truth, all the bhumis are completely present.'

Therefore, the obstacles to actions cease, immeasurable compassion arises, afflictions do not arise, and so on, which are called the signs of unchanging secrecy. Because for anything, one is not tainted by the discriminating mind of affirmation and negation, and does not fall into the extremes of hope and fear, this is the key point. As it is said in "Self-Arisen": "If dakinis appear to prophesy, one should observe their experience and entrust the mind to their intention." It is also said: "When extraordinary wisdom arises in the continuum, one should recognize the deception of the demons. When fearless conduct naturally emerges, one should recognize the entrance of wisdom." Just as it is said. The Peg of Obtaining the Three Third, the peg of obtaining the three is: By gaining mastery over external appearances, the conditioned appearances manifest as pure lands. At this time, if awareness is entrusted to sentient beings, because of the key point that awareness abides in self-born wisdom, for them, whether karma is good or bad, it can enable all to attain Buddhahood. If it is entrusted to the container world, it can cause it to shake, emit sounds, and so on. For example, Guru Rinpoche placed the king, ministers, and retinue in the supreme state, suppressed the sun above, stopped the collapsing cliffs with the sound of Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hum), and transformed the land of the Rakshasas into the pure land of the three bodies, and so on. By gaining mastery over the inner Vajra body, the coarse body is purified into luminosity, and in that very life, one can liberate three thousand beings who are in accordance with one's aspiration, at the moment of entrusting awareness, through the key point that karma has no good or bad. Just as mist dissolves into the sky, one enters into the inner Dharmadhatu. Again, the radiance of inner clarity dissolving and not being obscured manifests outwardly, and from the great spontaneously accomplished pure land, it appears in the form of a mirror and fire, that is, the semi-emanated Sambhogakaya, and so on. From the inexhaustible wheel of adornment of the three secrets, according to the disposition, capacity, and inclination of the beings to be tamed, the corresponding Sambhogakaya, the supreme Nirmanakaya, and various emanations such as crafts and births, can accomplish vast benefit for others. By gaining mastery over the secret wind-mind, even the Alaya consciousness that has committed the five heinous crimes can be liberated equally with oneself by entrusting awareness. One can travel unimpeded from one mountain continent to another, from one world to another, and immeasurable and boundless clairvoyance manifests in any direction. As previously said: Obtaining the three
