From the beginning without any measure, they say they generate Bodhicitta and make aspirations, which means they don't understand the Dharma. They say they generate Bodhicitta without any concept of what Bodhicitta is. Is it like the northerners expanding their lungs, forcing expansion for the sake of Dharma, fearing being abandoned? From now on, without interruption, cultivate the mind and accumulate merit as before, so that even if you can generate genuine Bodhicitta after countless kalpas like stars, it is as good as becoming a Buddha. Therefore, even if you can generate genuine Bodhicitta after countless countless kalpas, it is as good as becoming a Buddha. Generally, the Pratimoksha vows and the empowerments of Tantra are conferred upon those who do not understand. Both the aspiration and action of Bodhisattvas must be understood first, then meditated upon, and only when it is certain that they have been integrated into practice can they be conferred. If it is someone you are guiding, give permission for offerings etc. after confirming that they are able to generate Bodhicitta well, and then perform tsog and rituals. To all those who requested but could not guide, he would say, "Now it is easy to send a son of phel, a bag of bean flour and a rough piece of cloth are easy for everyone to obtain. Don't do insignificant things, that is your peak," and he would not give permission. Later, when he himself gave permission, he also said, "Now it is impossible to generate Bodhicitta and genuine Bodhicitta. In the preliminary, main, and concluding practices, you must visualize the Omniscient One, so that it becomes a seed for the future, so do it. Prepare the offerings and friends well."
