Departing from attachment, and free from the demons of dullness and agitation, thus one proceeds. Jetsun (an honorific title for a Lama) said: 'Having abandoned worldly affairs, and meditating on non-dual wisdom, severing the bondage of dualistic clinging, one attains Buddhahood in this very life with excellent faculties.' Having only mindfulness, and abiding in the state of non-dual mindfulness, one transcends the Bardo (the intermediate state between death and rebirth). If the yogi does not achieve accomplishment within twenty-one days after death, the karma (actions and their consequences) of virtue and vice will become clear. Caused by this, if one takes hold of a body of pleasure and pain, having meditated on Mahamudra (the Great Seal, a high-level meditation practice), then it will become clear and one will attain Buddhahood without taking another body. If one does not attain Buddhahood in this life and in the Bardo, one will take a human body in the future and attain Buddhahood. Thus spoke Lama Milarepa (a famous yogi and poet of the Kagyu school of Tibetan Buddhism). A Bodhisattva (one who aspires to attain Buddhahood for the benefit of all beings) said: 'Even if one does not attain Buddhahood in this life, one will attain Buddhahood in the future. If one does not attain Buddhahood in that life, it is because one has broken the Samaya (vows in Vajrayana Buddhism), and one must go to hell once.' In some Tantras (esoteric Buddhist texts) it is also said: 'If one takes a human body for seven lifetimes and meditates on Mahamudra, one will attain Buddhahood.' Therefore, for those in this life who have dualistic thoughts, external demons will come. If one meditates on non-dual wisdom without hope or fear, and has faith and respect for the Lamas, there will be no place for external demons to take hold. This is called 'The Key to My Own Experience.' The Oral Instructions of Jetsun Gampopa Rinpoche (one of the founders of the Kagyu school) on Meditation: Namo Dakiniye (Homage to the Dakinis) 'Do not look at your own mind.' This means: do not look at the mind with thoughts of emptiness (the Buddhist concept of emptiness, the lack of inherent existence), non-thought (a state beyond thinking), distraction, external projection, internal absorption, whether mindfulness (awareness) is present or not, and with a mind that calculates 'I am meditating.' Therefore, let your own mind arise naturally, without fabrication. 'Do not meditate.' The Jetsun said: 'All meditation is mind-made.' Therefore, there is no need to deliberately meditate on non-dual wisdom; it is enough to recognize the wisdom that is naturally present within oneself. Do not meditate on emptiness or anything else. Having abandoned worldly affairs and staying alone in seclusion, without deliberately meditating, the mindfulness of non-dual wisdom will arise naturally, and cannot be forgotten. If one sees fault in thoughts and tries to correct them, that itself is dualistic clinging. By clinging to the reality of a single ounce of gold, dualistic thoughts will increase and spread. This arises from regarding the presence or absence of thoughts as a fault or a virtue. Therefore, do not meditate on fabricated Dharma (teachings), but remain in ordinariness. This means: do not hope for the arising of non-thought, but remain with this ordinary awareness in which various thoughts arise. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

He said that the ultimate reality of non-dual wisdom is emptiness, which is the intention of the Buddha's mind. Apart from this, there are no qualities such as non-mentation to be cultivated. Therefore, remain in ordinariness! Non-fabrication is it.’ The so-called ‘do not look at your own mind’ and so on, these three themselves are non-fabrication. In short, regarding existence and non-existence, emptiness and non-emptiness, mentation and non-mentation, good and bad, virtuous and non-virtuous, etc., do not engage in rejection and acceptance, nor any fabrication and modification, but let it arise naturally as it is, this ordinary awareness itself is non-fabrication. This is the oral instruction of Jetsun Dakpo Rinpoche on the root of Mahamudra Non-Arising, the oral teaching of Snyi sgom. There are three aspects to practicing Tummo: Homage to the supreme lamas! There are three aspects to practicing Tummo: the reality of things is the path, and the order of arising of the fruit.’ Thus it is said. Among these, regarding the reality of things and the path, if the reality of the body's things is explained in detail, then ‘the body is the five Bodhis’. That is to say, the mother's empty womb is to attain Bodhi by abiding in emptiness; the white and red bindus of the parents are to attain Bodhi by abiding on the seat of the sun and moon; if A (A,अ,a,seed syllable) and Hum (Hum,हूँ,hūṃ,seed syllable) and the reality of the body's things are not understood, then the reality of the channels will not be understood; if the reality of the channels is not understood, then the reality of the mind will not be understood; if the reality of the mind is not understood, then the key to practice will not be understood. The image of Āli, with wind entering into it, is to attain Bodhi by abiding in the syllables of speech; in the four states of the womb, if it is a male fetus, then the sign of the vajra will appear; if it is a female fetus, then the image of the lotus will appear, this is to attain Bodhi by abiding on the signs of the heart and hand mudras; from then on, ten months, that is, nine full months and ten days, the twenty-one thousand six hundred breaths are completed, and from this birth, this is to attain Bodhi by abiding on the complete body. The channels that depend on the body, although there are seventy-two thousand channels, the three channels converge at the four chakras. These three channels are Roma, Kyangma, and Kundharma. The four chakras are: the crown chakra, the great bliss wheel, with thirty-two channels; the throat chakra, the enjoyment wheel, with sixteen channels; the heart chakra, the dharma wheel, with eight channels; the navel chakra, the emanation wheel, with sixty-four channels. They are like an umbrella and an umbrella handle. Awadhuti exists like a line drawn in the center of the body, the upper end inserted into the Brahma hole, the lower end inserted into the great secret place. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
