Like a lotus, both channels are included within. The winds that rely on these channels, although there are twenty-one thousand six hundred breaths, they can be summarized into five root winds and five branch winds. As it is said: 'Channels, bodhicitta, impure substances, and conceptual thoughts are the basis for the existence of the body's phenomena.' Relying on these, the body is formed, like a boat or a house. The way the mind abides is that wisdom and emptiness exist inseparably. As the tantra says: 'Great wisdom abides in the body, all thoughts are true, pervading all things, the body abides in the unborn body.' Tailopa said: 'How wonderful! This is self-awareness wisdom, beyond the path of speech, not the realm of the mind. Tailopa, I have nothing to show.' There are two stages of the path: There are two stages of the path: the maturing empowerment and the liberating path. There are two liberating paths: the path of complete liberation through the upper gate and the path of great bliss through the lower gate, which are the upper and lower gates. During practice, according to Jowo Naropa's view, if one meditates relying on three key points, afflictions will naturally subside, wisdom will naturally arise, and view will be naturally realized. Therefore, there are three key points here: the key point of the body, the key point of the object, and the key point of the time. The key point of the body includes the actual key point of the body and the training of the winds that rely on it. There are six actual key points of the body: 'Like being strung on a precious channel, the body should be very straight and curved, maintaining a posture like a knot tied behind the back, fully expanding the swelling, pressing with the samadhi seal, and crossing like a table.' As the Vajra Tent Tantra says: 'On the staff of body, mind, and life, there are the instructions for six trainings, and if accompanied by skillful means, they will blaze.' The training of the winds that rely on this is: 'After the six key points of the body are well arranged, perform the four: inhaling, filling, fixing, and shooting like an arrow.' Inhaling is: inhaling gently and slowly and pressing down. Filling is: the two upper ends enter the two nostrils, entering the two channels, and the two lower ends enter the Kundalini channel, feeling bliss. Fixing is: spreading throughout the entire body, filling all the channels. Shooting like an arrow is: when it becomes unbearable and releasing, release about one-third, and with intention, extend upwards into the central channel. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Meditate on the state of having passed away. There are two key points of the object: One must know the outer and inner aspects. The outer is characterized by white and red appearances, the inner by the four chakras. From these arise countless paths of skillful means. Thus it is said. The focus is: Visualize the syllable A (藏文:ཨ,梵文天城体:अ,梵文罗马拟音:a,汉语字面意思:无) at the navel, from which fire arises, gradually burning the four chakras. When the fire touches the syllable HUM (藏文:ཧཾ,梵文天城体:हं,梵文罗马拟音:haṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) at the crown, nectar of bodhicitta descends from the HUM, reviving the fire at the navel. Alternatively, focus on a point four fingers below the navel, directing the fire of wisdom, as small as a needlepoint, to that one point. Or focus on the Mahamudra. By not letting the mind wander, this is the key point of the object: awareness not straying to external objects. The key point of time: Next, the key point of time is taught: There is what is called the time of shifting from right to left, which includes sleep, dreams, meditative absorption, and ordinary time. The practice of these four times should be learned from the guru's instructions. Thus it is said. During sleep, the essence of mind abides in the Dharma chakra at the heart, so the heart is the key point. Similarly, during dreams, the throat is the key point; during meditative absorption, the crown is the key point; and during ordinary times, when one is not mindful and remembers everything else, and during the practice of Tummo, the navel is said to be the key point. Thus, by relying on these four key points and practicing diligently for a long time, first comes the time of suffering, then the time of bliss, and finally the time of merit, the sequence of the arising of results being: first, heat arises; then bliss; then clarity; then non-thought. At that time, five signs arise internally, and eight benefits arise externally. That is, when the wind enters the central channel, when the earth wind is seized, it appears like smoke. When the water wind is seized, it appears like a mirage. When the fire wind is seized, it appears like a firefly, and one has some control over wisdom. When the wind enters the mind, when the wind of wind is seized, it appears like a butter lamp, and one has control over wisdom. When the wind enters clear light, it appears like a cloudless sky, and one has control over the true mind. Thus it is said. The external benefits are: When earth is mastered, the qualities of earth are that the body becomes firm, hard, and enduring. The quality of water is moisture. The qualities of fire are increased warmth, radiance, good complexion, and easy digestion of whatever is eaten. The qualities of wind are that the body becomes light, swift, and unharmed even when falling. The qualities of space are: everything is like space, without day or night, and one sees the nature of reality. The qualities of the sun are that one's own body is not seen by others. The qualities of the moon are --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
