The benefits of having white qualities, not having impurities arise in the body, and being able to penetrate everything are: the body has no obstruction to earth, water, etc., and the mind manifests great bliss free from elaboration. This is the common stage. The supreme stage is: for oneself, the Dharmakaya (藏文:ཆོས་སྐུ།) free from elaboration; for others, the Sambhogakaya (藏文:ལོངས་སྤྱོད་རྫོགས་པའི་སྐུ།) and the Nirmanakaya (藏文:སྤྲུལ་པའི་སྐུ།), these two arise in the perception of others. The result is the stage of no birth: or from bliss arises the Nirmanakaya, from clarity arises the Sambhogakaya, from non-thought arises the Dharmakaya, and from the original nature arises the Svabhavikakaya The vows for meditating on Tummo (藏文:གཏུམ་མོ།) are: do not recite aloud, do not plant Kusa grass, do not lie on your back, do not laugh loudly, do not tell others about your experiences, and do not blow a conch shell, these are the six. The Instructions on Gathering the Four Elements Namo Guru! The precious Lama said, regarding the instructions on gathering the four elements: form dissolves into sound, the eyes do not see form; sound dissolves into smell, the ears do not hear sound; smell dissolves into taste, the nose does not perceive smell; taste dissolves into touch, the tongue does not taste flavor; touch dissolves into earth, the body does not perceive touch; when earth dissolves into water, the body cannot support itself and falls over. When water dissolves into fire, the mouth and nose become dry. When fire dissolves into wind, the channels of the limbs contract from the ends, and warmth is lost from the soles of the feet. When wind dissolves into consciousness, the outer breath ceases. At that time, the inner sign appears like smoke, and the outer sign appears like the rising of the moon. When appearance increases, the inner sign appears like fireflies, and the outer sign appears like the rising of the sun. When appearance is attained, the inner sign appears like a butter lamp, and the outer sign appears like darkness. When attainment is the time of clear light, the inner sign appears like a cloudless sky, and the outer sign appears like the dawn. At that time, it is the same as seeing the truth of the first bhumi, and it is called attaining the siddhi of Mahamudra If one cannot abide in that, Secondly, recognizing the illusory body (藏文:སྒྱུ་ལུས།): the impure illusory body and the union body (藏文:ཟུང་འཇུག་གི་སྐུའོ།). Therein, it appears as the Sambhogakaya. Having recognized the deity of union, meditate on pure clear light. By the fire of clear light, burn all the seeds of habitual tendencies, and it is possible to become a Buddha. If that is not possible, Thirdly, blocking the womb entrance: with mindfulness, the union of father and mother; with the thought of illusion and clear light, prevent the birth of the first week, and there is no difficulty in the second week, relying on the union of learning. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

By meditating on clear light, when habituation reaches its culmination, it is called the non-learning union, which is the attainment of Dharmakaya (chos sku). This is the uncorrupted Bardo (bar do) instruction of Lord Dwags po rin po che, which was instructed by the master Dwags po sgom chung to the master stod lungs pa. This passage was printed by the master of the Lord himself, spyan snga chos kyi rje, bsod nams lhun grub zla 'od rgyal mtshan dpal bzang po, on Mount Shantir (ri bo shan tir) to propagate the teachings of the Kagyu (bka' brgyud) lineage. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
