It transcends India, cannot be symbolized by any metaphor, and cannot be fully expressed by any meaning. Therefore, it cannot be described by language, and all words are false. Therefore, Mahāmudrā (Phyag rgya chen po, Skt: Mahāmudrā, Romanized Sanskrit: Mahāmudrā, lit. 'Great Seal') has no view. If there is a view, it is prejudice. Therefore, in the mind, cut off all attachments and abide in the three states of naturalness, spontaneity, and relaxation. This is the teaching of the Supreme Lama, the oral transmission of the uncle and nephew, the instruction to the master Stod lungs pa, and the mantra for removing obstacles. The Quintessence of the Four Mudras Homage to the Guru! The quintessence of the four mudras includes: Karma Mudra (Las kyi phyag rgya), example; Dharma Mudra (Chos kyi phyag rgya), path; Mahāmudrā (Phyag rgya chen po, Skt: Mahāmudrā, Romanized Sanskrit: Mahāmudrā, lit. 'Great Seal'), fruit; Samaya Mudra (Dam tshig gi phyag rgya), altruism. The example of Karma Mudra has two types: the co-emergent of example and the co-emergent of meaning. First, the co-emergent of example is like a lamp inside a vase, unable to shine outward, clinging to contaminated happiness. Second, the co-emergent of meaning is recognizing uncontaminated happiness, not clinging to happiness, not being attached, understanding that its meaning is without self-nature, knowing how to abide in the state of bliss, clarity, and non-thought. The Dharma Mudra of the path has two types: innate and separated from innate. First, innate is the continuous flow of the four activities (walking, standing, sitting, and lying down), like the water of the Ganges River, having meaning, not changing meaning, not clinging to the practice of meaning, without distinction between meditation and post-meditation. Second, separated from innate is that if one meditates on a fragment of wisdom, it will come; if one does not meditate, it will not come, not transformed into karma. The Fruit Mahāmudrā has two types: with defilements and without defilements. First, with defilements, even if one understands it in meaning, experience has not arisen in the mind, and the rope of hope and fear of things has not been cut. Second, without defilements, it is like the sun rising in a cloudless sky, without hope and fear, without calculation, beyond words, with nothing to do about it, and that is called the ultimate perfect fruit. The Samaya Mudra mainly aims at altruism and has two types: the cause Samaya Mudra and the fruit Samaya Mudra. First, the cause Samaya Mudra is the completion of self-interest. Second, the fruit Samaya Mudra is love and compassion, the completion of altruism. The teachings of the four mudras are the teachings of the Supreme Lama, the instructions to Dags po sgom chung. Homage to the holy Lamas! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Homage! Outwardly, the conditions of parents arise. Inwardly, the alaya-consciousness (kun gzhi'i rnam shes) arises. In between, a pure human body is obtained. Not born into the three lower realms. The suffering of birth and death arises from the outside. Renunciation of worldly desires arises from within. In between, the sacred Dharma is remembered. Not attached to friends and enemies. The guru's instructions arise from the outside. The discriminating wisdom arises from within. In between, faith and wisdom are born. Not doubting what is heard. Various appearances arise from the outside. The experience of bliss and emptiness (bde stong) arises from within. In between, non-grasping awareness is clear. Not following mistaken appearances. The self-liberation of the three realms (khams gsum) arises from the outside. The natural arising of primordial awareness (ye shes) arises from within. In between, possessing the confidence of realization. Not fearing reality. The five desirable sense objects arise from the outside. Wisdom without trace arises from within. In between, practicing equanimity (ro snyoms). Not clinging to happiness and suffering. The disintegration of conditioned phenomena arises from the outside. Without hope and fear arises from within. In between, free from the sickness of effort. Not depending on virtuous or non-virtuous actions. Sentient beings of the three realms arise from the outside. Impartial compassion arises from within. In between, experiencing the practice of the instructions. Not letting compassion turn into desire. The view is only understood in words, not truly realized. There is a demon destroying virtuous deeds. Meditation is just empty wishes. There is a demon destroying learning. Behavior is hypocritical and pretentious. There is a demon accumulating the sins of others. The afflictions of the result have not decreased. There is a demon leading the mind into samsara. In short, even if the meaning of non-duality (gnyis su med pa) is realized. Do not cut off virtuous actions. Even if the meaning of non-meditation (sgom du med pa) is realized. Do not cut off the service of skillful means. Even if there is no acceptance or rejection in behavior. Do not create the cause of others' sins. Even if there is no hope and fear in the result. Do not let the mind wander into afflictions. The instructions are like paint on leather. Have you consulted a learned guru? The experience is like the moon rising in the darkness. Have you meditated continuously like a flowing river? Realization is like empty space. Have you grasped it with the natural mind? There is not a single regret at the time of death. Have you established your own mind as a witness? The view is like the non-dual sky. Yogis who do not cling to permanence or annihilation. Meditation is like self-luminous awareness, without increase or decrease. Yogis who do not cling to dullness or excitement. Behavior is like self-liberation arising spontaneously. Yogis who do not cling to acceptance or rejection. The result is like being primordially enlightened. Yogis who do not cling to hope and fear. Namo Guru (ན་མོ་གུ་རུ།,梵文:namo guru,梵文罗马转写:namo guru, 汉语字面意思:顶礼上师). Initially, doubts were cut off, But now, occasionally, doubts still arise.
