Then, to generate the mind of enlightenment, generate Bodhicitta. Visualize a sun at your heart, with a Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུཾ།,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Hūṃ) on it. From there, light radiates, and all the outer earth, stones, and mountains transform into a celestial palace. When the light touches the inner sentient beings, visualize them transforming into Yidam deities. Then, visualize the outer celestial palace dissolving into light, merging into the assembly of deities. The assembly of deities dissolves into light, gathering back into yourself. Yourself, along with the mandala of the sun and the Hūṃ, gather back into yourself. The sun merges into the Hūṃ, the hook of the Hūṃ merges into Ha The Ha merges into the head, the head merges into the crescent moon, the crescent moon merges into the bindu, the bindu merges into the nāda (藏文:ནཱ་ད་,梵文天城体:नाद,梵文罗马拟音:nāda,汉语字面意思:Sound), and then completely release the nāda into emptiness, abiding in the state of Mahāmudrā. Meditate in this way repeatedly. For those who have not yet generated the experience of Mahāmudrā meditation, if they also meditate in this way, the mind will be grasped, it is said. Then, at the time of death, meditate on the key points of the body as before, emptying the inside, and cultivate the clear light within it. When the breath ceases due to kumbhaka, merge with the clear light of self-nature and the manifestation of self-nature, thereby attaining perfect enlightenment. As it is said, 'Thus, the clear light will continuously abide, and the city of the bardo will not be seen.' This is the transference of the supreme clear light. Next is the transference for individuals of middling capacity, the transference of the illusory body, which is divided into two parts: the preparatory stage and the actual teaching of transference. First, the preparatory stage: When falling asleep, visualize yourself going to the thirty-three heavens, to the stone slab of Āramo Lingka (藏文:ཨར་མོ་ལིང་ཀ་,meaning: a sacred place), where the elasticity can stretch, the dwelling place of Vajradhara (藏文:རྡོ་རྗེ་འཆང་,meaning: the holder of the vajra), and make the aspiration to practice Mahāmudrā there. In dreams, also repeatedly practice the same content. Then, the actual transference: At the time of death, when the elements gradually dissolve, transfer consciousness to the top of Āramo Lingka, visualize it appearing as a Yidam deity, but without inherent existence, like a reflection in a mirror. Cultivate the clear light in the state of pure illusory body, thereby attaining enlightenment. The so-called 'profound transference from the bardo' also refers to this. If one cannot abide in the state of union (藏文:ཟུང་འཇུག་,meaning: union) in the second bardo, then by sending consciousness upward, one will definitely reach there. After arriving there, one will not return, but will reach the pure realm, which is called transference. Someone asked, 'Why is it that the thirty-three heavens are not clearly seen in dreams?' The precious lama replied, 'During the day, repeatedly remember that this place is Āramo Lingka, and you will see it.' Next is the method of transference through the generation stage for individuals of lower capacity: Visualize your body as an illusory deity body, visualize A (藏文:ཨ་,梵文天城体:अ,梵文罗马拟音:a,汉语字面意思:A) at your navel, Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུཾ།,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Hūṃ) at your heart, and Kṣa (藏文:ཀྵ་,梵文天城体:क्ष,梵文罗马拟音:kṣa,汉语字面意思:Kṣa) at the crown of your head, practice vase breathing, and visualize the... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A dissolves into the Hūṃ in the heart. Visualize Hūṃ moving upwards, as if offering Kṣa from the crown of the head. Then, at the moment of cutting off (karma), bring Hūṃ down to the heart. From Hūṃ, generate A and place it at the navel. Practice this repeatedly until proficient, to the extent that the hands do not touch the knees, circling three times, snapping the fingers once. Counting this as one, it is excellent to complete one hundred and eight times, medium to complete seventy times, and inferior to complete thirty times. A sign of manifestation will appear on the crown of the head. Then, at the time of death, the transference of consciousness: adjust the posture, visualize the Yidam or Lama in the sky in front. Mentally extract the Kṣa from the Brahma hole, throw it out like a white scarf, and dissolve it into the A at the navel and the Hūṃ in the heart. Visualize Hūṃ moving upwards from the Brahma hole, dissolving into the heart of the Lama. Then, rest the Lama in a state of no self-nature. When the breath ceases, merge with the clear light of self-nature, thereby attaining Buddhahood. This is the oral instruction on the transference of consciousness in the generation stage. Namo Guru. Furthermore, the forceful transference of consciousness is: block the anus with the outer heel of the left foot, press the philtrum with both thumbs, seal the eyes and other nine orifices with the Lion's Release Mudra. Clamp the two sides of the ribs under the armpits with both elbows, tighten the waist, forcefully draw the air upwards and offer it as if from the Brahma hole. Then, visualize each of the nine orifices blocked with a coiled Hūṃ. Visualize the Lama or Yidam on the crown of the head. Visualize the Brahma hole opening like a white scarf, and visualize this mind transforming from within the heart into a dark blue Hūṃ, moving upwards from the Brahma hole, quickly dissolving into the heart of the Lama. Then, hold the breath, and transfer the consciousness by holding the breath. Then, rest the Lama also in a state of no self-nature. Then, cultivate the clear light of meditation, and at the time of the breath ceasing, mix the clear light of self-nature with the empty Dharmakaya, thereby attaining Buddhahood. Even if Buddhahood is not attained, there is no doubt that one will obtain a divine or human body. This transference of consciousness is applicable at the time of death, when afflicted by severe illness, or for those who have not accumulated great sins, but not for others. Thus it is said. The oral instruction on the forceful transference of consciousness. The oral instruction on entering a corpse is not explained here. The way of rebirth known by beings entering through epidemics. Homage to all noble Lamas. Formerly, the way of rebirth known by beings entering through epidemics is as follows: appearances dissolve, thoughts dissolve, gross dissolves, subtle dissolves, after becoming accustomed to dissolving, self-nature is. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
