Therefore, abandon the ten non-virtuous actions and practice their antidotes, the ten virtuous actions, as well as the six Pāramitās (Skt: ṣaṭpāramitā, Six Perfections). Moreover, these are inseparable, with each containing all six. This is actually the union of skillful means and wisdom. When giving alms, one should understand that ripening phenomena are like dreams and illusions. All six should be understood as dreams and illusions. As it is said in the scriptures: 'When practicing the Pāramitā of generosity, one should also practice in a way that does not fixate on the aspect of the Pāramitā of generosity, in a path without characteristics.' All six should be understood in this way. Therefore, the root of all Dharmas, like a foundation or source, is to abandon the ten non-virtuous actions, practice the ten virtuous actions, and cultivate the six Pāramitās for the benefit of others. There is no other Dharma beyond this! One must know that worldly affairs are of no help. If I were allowed to offer one Dharma in all ways, it would be to understand that worldly affairs are of no help when practicing Dharma. Observing this worldly illusion, everything done is a source of meaningless suffering. No matter how one thinks, there is no benefit. Therefore, one should always be accustomed to observing one's own mind.' That's what the Buddha said. Therefore, we should now constantly engage in some reflection in our minds. Observing worldly affairs, everything done is meaningless, no matter how much land and wealth one possesses, one must eventually leave it behind, so everything done is meaningless. All worldly actions are merely non-Dharma. Spending the day busy with worldly affairs and the night busy with food, there is no time to practice Dharma, so busyness and suffering are meaningless. In order to secure comfort in this life, one pursues things recklessly, disregarding good or bad reputation, which ultimately only brings suffering. Suffering in this life, and also being reborn in the lower realms in the next life, so it is suffering. Observing these three poisons, clinging to everything inside and out, pursuing things shamelessly, being driven by desires in this life, and being reborn as a hungry ghost after death, so it is painful and meaningless. Hatred causes constant quarrels in this life, and without considering death, one burns one's own mind, causing suffering in this life. In the next life, one will be reborn in hell, so it is painful and meaningless. Ignorance prevents one from distinguishing between good and evil, acting perversely, not understanding the cause and effect of good and evil, deceiving and cheating like ignorant animals. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Some people pretend to be clever but have no desires, which leads to them never being satisfied with anything in this life, having no contentment, and no moment of peace, which is truly painful. In the next life, because they do not understand good and evil, they are reborn as animals, suffering pointlessly. Therefore, all worldly actions are the source of meaningless suffering. No matter how you think about it, it is of no benefit. Clever people, think carefully, nothing can help at the time of death. Beloved children will eventually depart, and all homes and relatives will be scattered. Since this is the case, what is important? Not listening to a single word, not seeing a single person, it is too late, I did not think about it before! The sutra says: 'At the time of death, looking at anything is useless, what should be done?' The Buddha said: 'Children are of no use, you must constantly accustom your mind.' Observing one's own mind is beneficial and joyful. So, how can one observe to gain joy? Accumulating the accumulation of merit and observing the fruit of wisdom is observing one's own mind. Practicing the generation stage and completion stage of tantra is also observing one's own mind. In equipoise, knowing that all appearances are one's own mind, observing one's own mind, there is no shape or color, and it is free from all attachments. All extremes of right and wrong and all elaborations are liberated in their own nature, and one does not cling to anything. This is observing one's own mind in equipoise, which is the true observation of one's own mind. After post-meditation, practicing like a dream is also observing one's own mind. Similarly, one must constantly accustom oneself to observing one's own mind. By practicing in this way, the Dharma can become the antidote to afflictions. When the Dharma becomes the antidote to afflictions, one can observe one's own mind. The sutra says: 'Afflictions confuse the mind and drown it in the mire of ignorance.' Therefore, it is very important for the Dharma to become the antidote to afflictions. Generally speaking, if one practices well, one can realize the meaning of immortality; if one practices moderately, one can grasp the right path; if one practices poorly, one will not fall into the lower realms. Therefore, it is very important to strive for practice, and meditation is very important. Without meditation, few people are liberated from desires, and one cannot liberate oneself from death. Therefore, meditation is very important. Through meditation, one can overwhelm all appearances, and the clinging to reality will also be liberated in its own nature, so meditation is very important. Is there a substance to meditate on? --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
