Various mixed enjoyments arise. In the north, there is a place called the Joyful Grove, with mirrors that clearly show the good and bad of the gods, and trees of the thousand Sugata Buddhas. In the four directions, there are various jewel ponds. In the northeast of that city, there is a tree called the All-Gathering Earth-Emerging Tree, adorned with divine garments and jewel nets. The light of that tree pervades fifty yojanas, and its fragrance surpasses hundreds of thousands of yojanas. Beside the tree, like an amra tree, there are stone slabs adorned with various colors, which are soft when pressed and rise when lifted. There is a garden of Mandarava flowers, with Indra's throne, and a rain of flowers falls. In summer, the root three deities reside for four months, constantly enjoying the five objects of desire. To the southwest of the city, at a distance of four and a half yojanas, there is a place called the Good Dharma Assembly of the Gods. In the center, there is a jewel palace radiating light, which is the place where Indra's throne and the assembly of attendants discuss all matters. Above the thirty-three gods, in the sky, are the abodes of the four classes of desire gods. In the abode adorned with wish-fulfilling mind-transformation, there is freedom from the strife of asuras, without boundaries. In the abode adorned with wish-fulfilling eye-pleasing beauty, there is enjoyment of the power of arising joy. In the abode adorned with wish-fulfilling sight-pleasing beauty, there is the Joy of Transformation, which enjoys the splendor of joy and bliss. In the abode adorned with wish-fulfilling jewels, there are the gods of Other-Controlled Emanation, who possess all desires. Inviting the seventeen abodes of the Form Realm, above them in the sky, in order, are the seventeen abodes of the Form Realm. The three abodes of the first dhyana gods are: in the sky of the precious Pitanga, there are the classes of gods called the Brahma Assembly; in the sky of the precious Samika, there is the attendant god of the Great Brahma; in the sky of the precious Ketuja, there is the Great Brahma who has abandoned the faults of desire. The three abodes of the second dhyana gods are: in the sky of the precious Heroic Light, there are the Lesser Light Gods, whose light is less than that of the upper realms; in the sky adorned with the precious Kekeru, there are the Immeasurable Light Gods, because they possess immeasurable light; in the sky adorned with the precious Shriku, there are the Clear Light Gods, because their color and light are great. The divine abodes of the third Dhyana are of three kinds. In the precious Sitang Kiling sky, from the power of small virtue, the small virtue gods arise. In the precious Indra Nila sky, from medium roots of virtue, the immeasurable virtue gods arise. In the precious sky called "Light-emitting," from great virtue, the gods called "Increasing Virtue" arise. The divine abodes of the fourth Dhyana are of three kinds. In the precious sky of dense clouds, cloudless light like a cloudless day appears. In the precious sky adorned with Kala, the merit born from immeasurable meditation arises. In the precious, most beautiful, and all-pervading sky, from the great fruit of virtue, the great fruit arises. May all the supreme fortune, prosperity, and common attainments be drawn in the form of rays of light! The invocation of fortune for the gods of the Pure Abodes. Hūṃ hrīḥ (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning)! The divine abodes of the Pure Abodes are of five kinds. In the precious sky of stacked crystal palaces, the desire for enjoyment is small, not great. In the precious sky of radiant sprouts, the suffering of body and mind's desire is relieved, not suffered. In the precious sky called "All-Beautiful," the joy of bodily and mental quiescence is rich and manifest. In the precious sky adorned with high blue, pure views are seen with great clarity. In the precious sky arranged with nets, there is no distinction of form or place, hence it is called Akanistha. The invocation of fortune for the four formless realms. Hūṃ hrīḥ (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning)! Above that, the four formless realms are: In the sky of great clouds completely liberated, the gods called "Infinite Space." In the sky where the wheel of manifestation radiates, the gods called "Infinite Consciousness." In the sky possessing the wheel of manifestation, the gods called "Nothingness." In the sky of layered lotuses, the gods called "Neither Perception nor Non-Perception." All the divine abodes of the four realms are merely bodies of emptiness and awareness in meditative absorption. For all beings, there is only a mind-made body. Among the invocations of fortune for the four continents, the first is the invocation of fortune for the Eastern Continent of Superior Body. Hūṃ hrīḥ (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning)! Mount Meru, the great continent of the east, Superior Body Continent. On the left and right are the sub-continents Body and Superior Body. Its shape is like a half-moon. Each of the three sides is two thousand yojanas in length, and the protruding side is three hundred and fifty yojanas. The sky of...
