The essence of all the Three Roots and Three Jewels combined, the unerring, self-arisen, primordial Buddha, the Lama, King of Power, spontaneously accomplished with all qualities, Guru Padmasambhava, free from the fear of birth and death. Remembering you with unwavering faith, I pray from the depths of my heart with intense longing. Do not neglect your compassion, increase the power and strength of your blessings. Bestow all blessings, empowerments, and accomplishments upon your faithful child at this time. May the illusory appearances and false sources of this life collapse. May renunciation and weariness awaken the wisdom of my own mind. May realization and primordial wisdom be perfected in the nature of self-awareness. Bless me to merge my mind and heart into one. In this way, pray with unwavering focus and reverence, and receive the four empowerments: All objects of refuge dissolve into the root guru. The mass of blessings comes from the four places of the guru: rays of light, wisdom, white Om (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་དཀར།, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओम्, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Literal Chinese Meaning: Om), red Ah (Tibetan: ཨཱཿདམར།, Sanskrit Devanagari: आः, Sanskrit Romanization: āḥ, Literal Chinese Meaning: Ah), and blue Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ་མཐིང་།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese Meaning: Hum), green Hri (Tibetan: ཧྲཱི་ལྗང་།, Sanskrit Devanagari: ह्रीः, Sanskrit Romanization: hrīḥ, Literal Chinese Meaning: Hri). Dissolving into my four places, purifying the four obscurations, perfecting the four empowerments, giving rise to the four joys and wisdoms. May I attain the fruit of the four bodies of the Buddha. The lama comes to the crown of my head and dissolves into me. Mind and heart become inseparable, and my own mind, uncorrected, free from elaboration, the unborn Dharmakaya Ah (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: आः, Sanskrit Romanization: āḥ, Literal Chinese Meaning: Ah). Having said this, the retinue of the Dharmakaya refuge, the ocean of wisdom, dissolves into the Dharmakaya, gathering like the light of the setting sun. All the retinue of the Sambhogakaya dissolves into Amitayus, Father and Mother, like streams dissolving into the ocean. All the assembly of the Nirmanakaya dissolves into the Nirmanakaya Padmasambhava, like snow falling into a lake. Likewise, Dharmakaya Samantabhadra, Father and Mother, dissolves into Orgyen Dharmakaya, Father and Mother. Orgyen Dharmakaya, Father and Mother, dissolves into Sambhogakaya Amitayus, Father and Mother. Amitayus, Father and Mother, dissolves into Nirmanakaya Padmasambhava. In the essence of the three kayas, Padmasambhava, inseparable from the root guru, the mass of light, the treasure of blessings and qualities, that very body blazing with splendor and light, is the nature of bestowing the supreme empowerment of wisdom.
