In particular, this instruction is the most special of all of these, it is our guide, the great treasure master Dharma King, for the sake of benefiting beings, from the mind treasure of the Vidyadhara Dudjom Dorje, the great treasure of the Dharmata, the Treasury of the Void, the near lineage instruction that arises, is very rare, even in this degenerate age, it can ripen and liberate infinite sentient beings, it is the auspicious coincidence of the timely Dharma, it is the essence of the intention of the Buddhas of the three times, the profound instruction given by the accomplished master, the glorious Saraha. Now, let me explain the meaning of the name: Dharmata, the Treasury of the Void, refers to our own master, the great treasure master Dharma King's, the omniscient wisdom of the mind without attachment, which is the Dharmata, the Treasury of the Void. Among them, the Dharma place of all Dharmas is Dharmata, just as the Dharma place of all containers and contents is the Void, all Dharmas contained in appearance, existence, samsara, and nirvana, in the state of the basic realm of great emptiness, exist in their own nature without alteration, so it is Dharmata. Such Dharmata, the profound nature of the place of awareness, is pure from the beginning, and its essence is like the non-conceptual Void that does not abide in any place.

Although there are many places, the most supreme among them is the hidden instruction called "Inexhaustible Jewel Ornament." This means that this Dharma possesses two great secrets. First, since the basis, the Tathagatagarbha, pervades both samsara and nirvana, there is not even a hair's breadth of difference in the basis of Buddhas and sentient beings. However, because sentient beings themselves do not recognize or know their own nature, they endlessly wander in samsara. Because their own basis is Buddha, and before their own face is revealed, the basis remains within itself, secretly concealed and not realized, this is the hidden secret. Second, this profound secret meaning may only be entrusted and bestowed upon a few disciples with sharp faculties who possess karma and fortune, and propagated like a single transmission. Apart from these, this profound secret meaning should not be disclosed even in a whisper, nor shown even a glimpse, to foolish individuals, childish and cunning people, those without fortune, or those who slander. By keeping it extremely hidden and strictly sealed, and by practicing the meaning of what is said, it is a hidden secret because it has the necessity of possessing many qualities such as undiminished blessings and swift accomplishment. Such an unsurpassed and uncommon profound path destroys all fears of self-grasping, conceptualization, and mental fabrication in the realm beyond the nature of phenomena and cause and effect, therefore it is mantra (སྔགས།). Moreover, it possesses the seven qualities of a vajra, and by the power of abiding in the vajra vow, it has the ability to directly observe and destroy all conceptual thoughts of clinging to names. Nothing can find fault with it, and it possesses the true, indestructible nature of unchanging essence, therefore it is vajra (རྡོ་རྗེ།). Such a secret mantra vajra vehicle is the essence of all the qualities of all paths, and without undergoing the transformation of samsara and nirvana, good and bad are all self-contained, therefore it is a vehicle (ཐེག་པ།). Therefore, this is the most secret among secrets, the most profound among the profound, the most essential among essences, the most quintessential among quintessences. Like the essence of earth is gold, like the essence of water is salt, like the essence of milk is butter. It is the very essence of all vehicles.

Like this, for all phenomena that appear, regarding them as self, and the thought of clinging to things as real, that is object-clinging. Influenced by this, meditating on good thoughts as deities, Hoping for benefit; manifesting bad thoughts as demons and suspecting harm, etc. The appearance of hope and doubt of benefit and harm never ceases, bound by the bonds of attachment and clinging. Controlled by the four maras and wrong guides, etc., tormented by the afflictions and unbearable suffering arising from conditions. In all the illusions of samsara, Like a mill animal, one has to act involuntarily. Not being given the path to liberation is because the root of the two kinds of grasping is ignorance itself. Such ignorance, the root of illusion, self- grasping, is the firm foundation of the tree of existence. With the sharp weapon of the wisdom that realizes selflessness, forcibly cutting the firm bonds of grasping at the two, hope and doubt, In the realm of the equality of dharmata, cutting it off from the root, completely eradicating it, this is cutting off hope and doubt. Then, such a profound and wonderful instruction for cutting, surpassing other paths and vehicles, is unmatched by anything. It is the sole antidote that overcomes all opposing sides, like a single white medicine that always works, this is Mahamudra. Oṃ! This instruction of the so-called "Cutting" is the supreme means to attain Buddhahood in this very lifetime without delaying the result to the future, hence it is called instruction. Moreover, from beginningless samsara, due to the powerful causes and conditions of the illusion of ignorance, grasping at subject and object, even with one's own strength, one could not even glimpse the doorway of the way of abiding of the ground Dharmakaya Tathagatagarbha. However, relying on this profound path, one can realize the ground wisdom, the great liberation, the original purity, the natural state and reality of Samantabhadra, just as it is. Therefore, this is a sharp and profound instruction for directly recognizing the self-face of the Dharmakaya of awareness and emptiness in one's own mind, hence it is called the instruction for recognizing the self-face of the natural state. Such a profound and special instruction does not exist in the three realms of existence. This is the pinnacle of all vidyadharas and siddhas.
