That which says that the extremes of one and many of Buddhas and sentient beings are not negated, and that severance is not established, is the wisdom of self-arising awareness itself, which is all, one and many, separate and not separate. In the inseparability of separate and not separate, although there appears to be a negation and establishment that seems to be forceful, it is permissible to say that there is no superior negation and establishment, so those faults do not arise. Third, to show the presence or absence of deluded appearances on the ground. The first of the third, nine faults of conceptualization. It is said that if deluded appearances are present on the ground, then the ground, samsara, and self-continuity will not be obscured by the faults of conceptualization. Like the example of chains, one cannot become a Buddha. The Victorious Ones and the lineages of awareness of beings become distinct. There is no need for the teachings to be spoken. The appearance of nirvana ceases. Samsara becomes finite. Without explanation, it is impossible to accomplish the benefit. The dharma of the ground becomes tainted. The latter, the twelve objects of faults, such as doubts of non-existence, are the ground. It is said that even if there is no delusion on the ground, there is still the fault of the absence of coemergent ignorance, the fault of self-nature being cut off, and nirvana becoming finite. If samsara appears on a ground where deluded appearances have ceased, then samsara has a beginning. Even a pure lineage does not need to purify the obscurations of samsara. There is no need for the teachings. If it appears from what is originally absent on the ground, then it becomes an appearance of nihilistic extremists. The fault of not having a prior, the fault of one not having one, and the arising of twelve from what is originally absent. The ground contradicts the meaning of the presence or absence of deluded appearances. It does not appear in the scriptures, it is not expanded by logic, and thus it is not reasonable by reason. Incidentally, showing the difference of wisdom, the thought of the unwise and the wise is. It is said to distinguish, the unwise, the extremely unwise. It is said that there are two thoughts of the unwise, what are the two? That is, the extremely unwise cling to extreme views. It is said that these are the extremists and beings, etc. The unwise argue about existence and non-existence, and whatever they do, whether negation or establishment, they give rise to attachment and aversion to it. It is said that the relatively unwise, etc., argue about the valid reasoning of measure. The Mind-Only ones argue about the presence or absence of aspects. The Middle Way ones argue about the presence or absence of appearances. They intentionally block the objects of non-awareness knowledge, and establish the objects of awareness knowledge, which is to generate attachment to the meaning of establishment, and to generate aversion to the object of negation, so there is no acceptance or rejection of the meaning.

Because they have not seen, they are unwise. Then what is a wise person? The so-called wise and extremely wise, this is a brief explanation of the differences in the thoughts of the wise. Ordinary wise people have views of refutation and establishment, and rely on the meaning of establishment. This refers to the Madhyamaka and Yogacara schools of Mahayana. However, if compared to Tantra, errors will arise. Controlled by the habits of the apprehended and the apprehender, they are far from the unerring path. This is what it says. Because the thought of establishing a definite understanding of specialized refutation and establishment arises, they are far from the view of Tantra. Tantra is: For all extremely wise people, there is no refutation and establishment in the mind. This says that Tantric practitioners are the thoughts of the extremely wise, and they do not specialize in refutation and establishment with the reasoning of great beings, which is also a supreme means of realization. By the way, although there is refutation of views with refutation and establishment, and establishment of the meaning of no refutation and establishment, they do not only acknowledge the aspect of no refutation and establishment. The meaning is: Because that is self-knowing and self-manifesting, they do not trust in being separated from refutation and establishment. This says that because all phenomena with refutation and establishment are self-knowing, they do not specifically make the meaning of no refutation and establishment the object. Because specializing in refutation and establishment, and abiding in equality, both of these situations are erroneous. Therefore, each has views of refutation and establishment, and because they are attached to the aspect of establishment, how can they see that which is without it? Therefore, that is seen by one's own conceptual mind. Thus it is said. The ninth answer is explained incidentally. That that is like a ladder, there is no difference in number and abandonment. This says that the vehicle of cause and the vehicle of effect, like a ladder, do not abandon the number with differences. The seven faults arise just as saying numbers in the vehicle of cause, but faults do not arise in the vehicle of effect. This is what is said. The necessity is: Just as one does not drink food containing poison, how can it become two wrong views? This says that like that, just as self-nature is inverted and other-dependent is inverted, Tantra will not go astray. Second, to eliminate doubts. Two like that there, this says that like the second in number, asking about spontaneous accomplishment, how does the term spontaneous accomplishment represent? This asks whether spontaneous accomplishment belongs to one side, or which one has no direction? If it is established without being established, there is no definition.
