If conditioned phenomena did not perish, that would be impossible. Therefore, it should be acknowledged that conditioned phenomena perish immediately upon arising. Why ask for a cause for destruction itself, which is without cause? Non-action itself is stated as the reason for being without cause. Non-action itself is because it is inexpressible, and inexpressibility is because it is non-existent, since it is merely a separate entity of its own nature. The letters are not explained for the sake of easy understanding. Whatever destruction is mentioned is not another cause of destruction, so this itself is the answer. If things are not merely arising, then this will be explained in detail. It is not reasonable to change in the same way as itself, because the nature does not disappear. Therefore, it is said that it is not permissible for it to be inconsistent with itself and its characteristics. Inconsistency of characteristics itself does not occur without otherness. In things such as wood, etc., the word "etc." includes forms, etc. Since destruction is not the object of the senses such as the eye, the question is: For the time being, you wood, etc., this will be explained in detail. If it exists, then they will not appear. If, due to contact with fire, things such as wood do not perish, then they should be seen as before. But they are not seen. Therefore, it is certain that they perish due to contact with fire. Because it is certain, it is said that destruction is seen, but it is thought that this is not directly perceived. For the time being, this needs to be examined, this will be explained in detail, because it needs to be examined, so it is thought that this is not what is seen. Other things have not arisen, because it is contradictory that those things in contact with fire are blue. For example, contact with wind, etc., this will be explained in detail, this is also established for the other party. Sound and light are momentary, they themselves perish, and the obstacles caused by contact with wind and hands are also seen because they have not arisen, but it is not that they are not seen because of the contact of wind and hands, and the destruction of sound and light. In that way, for the time being, the entry of what is seen is also those

It is not because of existence. Then what is it? It is because something previously arisen causes other things to arise. The visibility and invisibility of trees and other things should also be understood in the same way. Therefore, compared to destruction with a cause, the meaning of 'without a cause' should be proven by inference, not by direct perception. What is said in 'It has been said'? It means 'It is not without a cause, because it is not an action, just like complete non-existence.' As for 'like arising,' arising itself is a state, and if it is assumed that momentary or non-momentary phenomena themselves have a cause, then the destruction of all things will also become with a cause. But this view is not reasonable, because the time of the cause of destruction is uncertain, and therefore the time of destruction of momentary phenomena such as consciousness, sound, and flames will become uncertain. Therefore, like consciousness and other things, it should be admitted that everything is without a cause. As for 'because two consciousnesses do not meet,' because when the previous consciousness exists, the subsequent consciousness does not exist, how can something that does not exist become the cause of the destruction of the previous consciousness? When the subsequent consciousness exists, the previous consciousness has already been destroyed, so how can something that has already been destroyed become the cause of destruction? If it is thought that when the subsequent consciousness exists, the previous consciousness still exists, then doubt and definite knowledge are mentioned. The same should be said for sound. When consciousness and sound are clear, their sequels and so on will arise. 'Anything that exists is without a cause' is a detailed explanation. The teacher Aryadeva thinks that for things that have arisen, there is no cause for existence, so it itself is the cause of destruction. The answer to this is that without a cause is not suitable to be a cause, because it is not a thing. Therefore, this is not the cause of destruction. As for 'due to the influence of Dharma and non-Dharma,' Dharma does not depend on benefit, just as the flame of a lamp is the cause of arising; non-Dharma causes harm and is the cause of destruction. The causes of arising and destruction, Dharma and non-Dharma, etc.,
